A Hawaiian Birthday at Turtle Bay
Hiya guys! Aloha from Oahu, and greetings from the North Shore!
First off before I go on let me apologize for 2 things here: First, I'm sorry for yet another late in the day post. Second, I'm sorry but Elisa is having a crazy day back at home and she won't be joining us on here today.
Now onto paradise.
Sadly today is our last day in Hawaii, we will be heading back to the mainland.
While I'm excited to see the kids (who I've missed) along with the rest of the fam bam - but we are talking about Hawaii!
Hawaii is just magical, and until you've been there you probably won't/don't understand what I mean.
The kids know what I mean and are quite eager for me to get another trip to Hawaii on the calendar - they won't have to twist my arm in order for me to do this.
I've already been talking to Dave about it and making a list of all the things that we want to do upon our return.
And sooooooo our planned return is for October 2018 - right after Cosette's birthday!
It'll be a birthday trip for both Dominic and Cosette! ALOHA

Well as you know yesterday was Dave's Birthday!
And the one thing this guy wanted to do was RELAX and take pictures of MEEEEEEE ;)
So in addition to the beautiful landscape of the lovely Turtle Bay Resort, you also get to see me enjoying it all!
We started the day with heading to the main building for a delicious Tofu Veggie Benedict breakfast.

After we filled up, we were on our way to wander the grounds...

Eventually I got rather warm...more like super hot and was in need of heading indoors to cool off with some powerful A/C and a nice icy cold drink..

But once I have cooled off, I was headed back outside and into the very inviting hammock that had been calling my name!

After a visit from our Cottage host, Dave was inspired to pick up the guitar and serenade me by signing Happy Birthday! LOL

And then after a beautiful sunset, we had headed back to the main building for a wonderful dinner..

And that my friends is how Dave chose to spent his birthday!!
Now just in case you are still wondering how and why I chose this resort - I was inspired by the 2008 movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall - and have been eager to go check it out for myself ever since!
I'm not quite sure what took me so darn long, but I'll tell you one thing - it certainly won't take us even half as long to go back and enjoy this resort all over again!
Well it's almost time for me to catch a flight. See ya back in SoCal on Thursday morning,
