Yesterday, I finally embarked on the monster chore of cleaning the garage (along with my mom, and the assistance of Dominic). And when I call it a monster chore that is an understatement at best. It's a freakin' BEAST, and it's definitely not something that can be done in a few hours or even a few days - this chore is gonna take weeks...and that's if we can consistently tackle a few hours several days a week!
So we will have to just keep chipping away at it, and eventually we'll have an organized (or semi organized) garage. One can hope!
And another thing I needed to do aside from the regular errands/chores/kids classes was also starting to pack... Actually, I helped Dave pack and began gathering some things that I need to pack.
Since we're heading out tomorrow, it's something that has to be done today!
Packing for a trip like this - a Mountain Biking Getaway is pretty darn easy, so it shouldn't take much time whatsoever...
Unlike some of the BIGGER trips that are on the horizon - both of which happen to be to Europe, and the packing will be a much bigger chore!
If you recall, I am a bit anal when it come to packing and what to wear while traveling.
I not only have a packing list, but a list of our daily wardrobe and it all must be coordinated - there will be no clashing in my travel pictures!
Luckily, the kids and Dave are pretty accustom to my antics and let me do my thing...

It is actually quite funny that I sometimes still catch them by surprise... Because remember it's all about coordinating, not necessarily matching.
But there will be those occasions when we are perhaps all wearing the same or similar colors, and when the kids realize that I've done this - they usually find the humor in it and we all get a good laugh!
Oahu, HI (2011)
Actually there was this one time at Disney World about 4 years ago when Dominic and I were pretty close to matching and he had me laughing so hard when he commented about me "copying" what he was wearing - did he forget that I had a master plan all along?!

And just so you know, I don't go out and purchase our clothing with any of this in mind.
I manage to always pull this together by using our current wardrobes.

So anyhoo, if ya haven't noticed today is TBT and I hope that you've enjoyed some of the photos I've shared from years past. I certainly enjoyed sharing them with you!
Now as I was saying, it's time for me to PACK!!
See y'all back here tomorrow as we make our was to Moab, Utah :) -T

Mello Last Full Day in Boca
Hello My Friends!
On this last day of March, I'm enjoying my last full day in Boca Raton.
My sissy and nephews leave today (insert sad face). But, we'll all be back in New York by the weekend.
Yesterday, we had a chance to head over to do some shopping at the Boca Town Center Mall. I took three of the kids and we headed to Nordstrom, where Kelsey lucked out with a few new clothing items for the Summer.

It's hard to believe how big these kids are getting.
Anyway, the weather was really horrible yesterday - lots of rain and very muggy. However, little Mikey just loves hanging outside under the awning and making himself comfortable on the outdoor table!!
I had such a hard time sleeping last night as I woke up at 2am and was fully awake. Rather than toss and turn, I worked on some social media for my dad's beloved character, Sad Sam(R).
My dad is very committed to making Sad Sam(R) and his best friend, Honey(R) become important "Spokes Pups" for the millions of animals in shelters and specifically, the "No-Kill" Movement to end the tragic and needless euthanasia of thousands of healthy and adoptable and lovable animals each year.

Today is going to be a VERY MELLOW day. This is going to be a very short blog entry today. Considering my lack of sleep last night and the absolutely gorgeous, sunny day that today is, I am going to park myself outside in the sun, poolside!
