Elisa's Travel News.. I'm trying to get a few bookings in place over the course of the next week - we'll see how effective I am. Actually, it's not for lack of effort, but I'm desperately hoping that the prices come down a bit for flights from NYC to Catania, Sicily. I really should have booked a while ago, but, I was a bit short on funds (with some other house expenses that reared their ugly head grrrr!) and so I decided to wait. Now, the rates are almost double. So, here's my plan. As we've mentioned before, the best time to book flights is early Tuesday mornings (before 10am eastern standard time). Therefore, I'm going to park myself in front of my laptop first thing tomorrow and search out the following:
I'll keep you posted on my findings or if I managed to book some good rates. I made some good progress yesterday on our Travelin' Cousins' Vegan Restaurant Favorites book. With the many places we have eaten, it's not easy to select our favorites! So, if we have the room, by golly, we'll include as many as possible!! Tanya and I will be having a telephone "pow-wow" on Wednesday this week, the first of many, about our book endeavor! As our cherished followers, we will be keeping you updated on our progress, each step of the way. Feel free to send us your feedback regarding your favorite vegan eateries, as we would love to get them on our list to try, if we have not as yet done so!! Here's to the start of a fabulous Spring week!! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo | Tanya in Phoenix - Spring Training Baseball and the Best Vegan Restaurant in Arizona!!! GREETINGS once again from Phoenix, Arizona! We have definitely been making our way around town and darting from one neighborhood to the next. As we are in search of the best vegan eats and treats as well as exploring the many Cactus League Spring Training Baseball stadiums that are here in and around the Arizona capital - Phoenix. Yesterday we checked out Camelback Ranch Stadium - Spring Training Home to both the Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers... Here is just a picture sampling from our day: Guess what - I'm in a hurry yet again... No matter where I am, I'm just such a busy bee that we head out in the morning with a full card of fun and adventure that we don't get back to our "home-tel" until it's time for bed and then we start all over again. So while I have plenty of catching up to do with you. There is still plenty more fun to be had that I don't want to miss. On that note please understand that I need to go and that I'll add the rest later on - which does include a vegan restaurant that is not to be missed. It is one of the best! And it is certainly going to be listed amongst my upcoming article - Arizona Vegan Eats as well as a top rating in our Travelin' Cousins' Vegan Restaurant Favorites book! For now...I'm outta here, -Travelin' Tanya |
