I for one cannot believe that it is already Thursday! Who else is with me? Doesn't it feel earlier in the week?!
So it really is Thursday, which means that the feature here on Travelin' Cousins is TBT (Throwback Thursday). And it's always a fun and sometimes funny one to look back and to share memories of our past with you!
But before that, I'm gonna share some of yesterdays SCOOP... The day was plenty full of shopping with my mom, Brigitte, and Cosette. But even still, it wasn't actually all that successful! My mom and Brigitte STILL need to find their new Baby Blue Easter outfits - and as we all know, the time is running out!
I had also got some more travel planning and booking squared away: Booked first leg of the Sept/Oct Disney World trip, and almost booked the July 2017 Western Caribbean cruise.
Cruisin' in 2012
However what took place really threw me for a spin... While on the phone with the travel consultant at the cruise company, I asked if she would take a looksie at our upcoming Oct. Bahamas cruise. She had and the ducks are all in order. But there was something about the date that had bugged me. I couldn't put my finger on it and I decided to take a peak at my calendar and I immediately noticed what the issue was... The cruise departs on a Sunday and the entire while that I've been booking everything around the cruise I had it in my head leaving on a Monday!!! Oh geez...
That meant the earlier hotel booking had to be adjusted and the bigger problem was changing Dave B's flight - ya see Dave B will only be joining us for a weekend and coming to 3 parks.
However with this mess up he would only be coming to 2 parks and leaving Florida after our ship has already sailed! What a mess!
It took me literally 4 hours on the phone to repair this situation - which luckily I had!
Could you imagine if I didn't catch error this yesterday, when would I be looking at this stuff?
Like right before the trip, and by then it would be waaay to late to get the results that I needed. Whew!!
Now on with today, I've got a HUGE chore ahead of me today. One that will take several days, if not weeks to complete. One that totally intimidates me! Once that I can not tackle on my own... Cleaning --- The Garage.
While I have my things in the garage very well organized. The rest is pretty darn bad, and that's putting it lightly. It's really gotten out of control and needs to be done. Let's hope that my mom and Dave C step up to assist, otherwise it's not getting done. It's waaaaay too big of a task for me to do solo.
Have you checked out Elisa's column lately? She's certainly enjoying herself in the Sunshine State! I sure hope that she can make it out there when we go in October!! Did you see the video clip pf the movie she's going to see today - it's looks awesome doesn't it?!
I watched the clip and recognized most of those National Parks from being so fortunate to go and visit them in person (albeit not rock climbing tho). I just adore the National Parks and their majestic beauty. If you haven't seen most of them, I urge you to get out of your comfort zone and get out there. It's truly AMAZING!
And now for more TBT part - check out these fun Throwback Easter pics...
Easter 2014 - Silly Boyz
Easter 2015 - Silly Girlz
I hope that you enjoyed that - I know I did!
See ya back here tomorrow, when Elisa will be posting a new Foodie Friday about a cool Smoothie and Vegan place that she found on her current trip!
Ciao 4 now, -T

Throwback to Easter 2005
GOOD DAY TO YA!
Do you mind if I start off with a rant session? Well, here goes...I was so excited about getting tickets to Spring training baseball - specifically, the Cardinals playing the Mets at Rogers Stadium.
After getting a consensus from the family about who wanted to go and who didn't, I sat down at my computer last night to order the tickets and lo and behold...THERE WERE NO TICKETS!!
Oh yeah, "SRO" - Standing Room Only. But there's no way that would fly with my mom. So guess what folks? I screwed up. I should have done advanced planning and gotten tickets early. UGH!!
Let's hope today works out better for us...The whole gang is supposed to go to the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale.
Now, unlike Tanya's crew, my whole family does not usually venture places in a group. It's rather impossible to get everyone going together.
I had suggested a month ago to my Dad that we go to the museum to see the "MacGillvray Freeman's National Parks Adventure" IMAX movie and he seemed very interested. My mom said that she would come, and of course, that meant that Gianna and Kelsey would be coming.
Cut to, my sister Danielle arriving here in Boca Raton and her boys deciding to come. I'm still not sure this excursion is going to be appealing to Danielle - we'll have to see.
Because my family has a mix of early and late risers, I decided on a mid-afternoon movie time, which I thought would be more appealing to the group as a whole.
Here's a little preview of the film we are going to view today...
Well, today is also Throwback Thursday. It's hard to believe that my mom and dad first bought their home here in Florida in 2004 and spent their first Winter here in 2005.
Gianna was only 8-months old at the time and me and my little girl spent most of that Winter in the Sunshine State.
Every morning during that stay, I would take my little baby for long walks in the stroller. Those days were so carefree and peaceful. It was all about tending to my adorable sweetie, morning, noon and night.
Though it was a 24/7 job, those were the best years of my life - when Gianna and Kelsey were babies and toddlers!!
I took her for her first Easter Picture back in 2005. Hard to believe she was once this small.
Time sure does fly.
Well, here we are in Florida spending Easter 2016 - 11 years later!
