As well as another column that she wrote in January that focuses all about Wellness Tips
I'm gonna bop on into Mother's Market - our go to health food and grocery store on our way out of town to pick up a few of these oils and kick this sinus infection in the butt!
Being that I bopped on here later than planned, I was so stoked to see what Elisa had focused her column on...
It's Foodie Friday and the kids and I LOVE 3 Brother's Pizza Cafe, so when Elisa had pointed out to me that they opened a new location that is closer to her neck of the woods, I've gotta admit that I got pretty darn excited and can't wait to go there for a meal!!
Knowing me and how much I love food (good food) You probably have an idea that I have favorites dishes and restaurants around the world!
So of course I've got a few go to vegan eateries that I frequent in the Phoenix area and that are of course on my list for this weekend. These are two of my favorites that are making my mouth water just thinking about them:
Both Tour de Tahoe and America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride are organized by Bike the West. I've yet to cycle in Tour de Tahoe, but did pedal in America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride back in 2015.

Read more about that ride here: What a Weekend Speaking of great weekends, I expect that this one is gonna be up there! It's been many years since I've last gone to MLB Spring Training and I am amped to kick off this season with a few fun games in the Arizona dessert!
See ya in Phoenix, -Travelin' Tanya

Great News for Vegans on Long Island!
Hey there! Hope your week has been a great one!
Things are good on this end, except my dear Gianna has been sick with a cold for the past few days and is home from school, once again today.
Hopefully, all the rest will help her get well.

With today being Foodie Friday, here on TC, I wanted to share some great news for our Vegan followers!!
Tanya introduced me to a wonderful eatery in Farmingdale, Long Island a few years ago that served vegan pizza and Italian food: 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe.
During the time that Tanya first learned about this cozy, vegan friendly Italian joint, they have expanded with three additional locations here on Long Island, with the most recent being on the north shore, in Albertson - closer to me and, subsequently, my dear cuz, when she visits New York.
You guys know that I'm not vegan, but do live a vegan lifestyle whenever possible. (I'm a mostly-vegetarian) - Sorry if that upsets our vegan followers; I'm getting closer each day.
In any case, 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe is just another example of the growing demand for vegan restaurants and the increasing number of people adopting a vegan lifestyle. According to their website, they describe their restaurant as "your local old-school Brooklyn charm, authentic Italian vegan pizzeria in Long Island."

The vegan menu started back in 2009, and since then the vegan menu has become super popular, and 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe has now become a destination restaurant and 70% of the restaurant is vegan.
Offering everything from vegan Seitan entrees, to creamy Alfredo pasta, 3 Brothers offers it all vegan-style!
Their locations include Farmingdale, Copiague, Lynbrook and Albertson.

I also found a fun article this week, also related to food, published in Surface Hotels:
Today, Tanya is heading to Arizona for some Spring Training! Stay tuned for her full account!
As for me, I'm gong to duck out for a few hours to get my hair done. Tomorrow is a big day for me and Kelsey as we head to see In The Heights at the John W. Engeman Theatre in Northport, Long Island!! (Click Here to read all about this theatre and other performing arts centers on Long Island & Queens)
My little theatre geek knows the entire soundtrack and has yet to see the show. More on that excitement Sunday, as I do a recap of our fun Saturday together!!
