BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Spring has Sprung with Lots of Daycation DestinationsHey Guys, and Happy Spring!!! Well, we made it through Winter! Honestly, it was not a bad one here on Long Island - not too much snow and the temps only dipped super low for a short period of time. I'm so darn excited for the warm weather and wanted to share a few of the daycation events I have to fit into our calendar during the upcoming months: Spring Destinations for Elisa & Gang There are just so many places, shows and events I want to see that I don't know which order to put them in. So, I'm just going to list them and fill you in as they get on the calendar!
Those are a few of the things I'm planning for this Spring! Did you catch Tanya's Birthday re-cap? She certainly had a blast boppin' around yesterday with the kids and family. Watch her video too - if you cannot view it on the email - just click the Travelin' Cousins logo at the top to access our website and hear Tanya's personal account of her fun-filled birthday celebration! Happy Hump Day!! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo | It was the Birthday of ChampionsHiya guys and gals! I had a fabulous birthday, but now my birthday is done and Spring has sprung. The sky is blue (for now) and the little birdies are happily chirping. We are expecting rain in a couple of hours to last for the remainder of the day. But that's okay - I love the rain. I still have a laundry list of things to do before I leave for Arizona, so I must be getting on my way here very soon. I will leave you with a picture review of my Birthday of Champions!! I'm not a bar hopping or couch sitting, TV watching type of gal. I don't need a drink in my hand (unless it's a fresh squeezed juice). What I do enjoy is staying active and being busy. While I think I accomplish that pretty well in my day to day activities. What's a girl to do on her birthday to make it extra special??? I go play Tennis, then I go indoor rock climbing, followed by going to the ice skating rink, then a pampering session at the salon and finally a night of fun with the fam bam and friends eating a delicious dinner of homemade and hand-cut pasta (that I requested by Cosette) and ringing in my birthday with an amazing Limoncello Cake (which I also requested by Cosette). It was an awesome day. #winning While I was interested in all of my birthday events, not everyone else was quite as ambitious... It was Dave C., Dominic and I for tennis: Followed by Dominic and I rock climbing. With Cosette there to watch and keep us company. She even lent a hand on occasion to belay. And finally it was Cosette, Jet, Chaplin and I for ice skating. My mom came along to watch and claims that she will get out there on the ice with us on the next visit. Getting my hair done was next and I am quite happy with the outcome. As you can see, I am beginning my hair transition to my "summer" hair...which unlike my travel plans you actually have to wait and see what my hair plans are gonna be! Okayyyy there is much more to come, but it seems like I've lost track of time and need to head on outta here. I'll catch up with you and fill you in on more later, -Travelin' Tanya |
