As of yesterday, our accommodations are all finalized for this trip!!! We still have a great deal to do for our Cousins Milestone Birthday Eastern European trip. But, Tanya and I decided since we will have a full week together in a few weeks in Yellowstone, we will spend the evenings working out the details since we will be sharing a condo together. I was lucky enough last night to get the night off of my cooking duties as Dave C took over the kitchen as chef for the night! Making us a vegan Irish Stew, and a vegan Corned Beef and Cabbage. It was all YUMMERS! Actually he has been taking over on St Patrick's Day for a few years now, and I usually just make an Irish Soda Bread. Well, last night I didn't even do that! Dominic opted to take the night off of his usual classes - due to the BIG HOLIDAY! lol And instead I took him and Cosette to the Rock Climbing Gym! But yet again I couldn't climb because of my LONG nails. So I think I'm gonna go get them cut down tonight so that I can join in on the fun of monkeying around! Earlier in the day, I took Cosette to her horseback riding lesson where she almost got tossed off! Lucky she knew exactly how to handle the situation and stayed on for the exciting ride! Her trainer was so proud of her! Today is packing day! Hoorah Hoorah! Now to focus on W2GW (Where to go Wednesday)... I just love the fun interactive article that Elisa found in the New York Times Travel Section '52 Places to go in 2015' I also luv her format of sharing her information with you about those "places to go"! Out of the 52 Places on this list: I've been to: - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Yellowstone National Park - Orlando, Florida - Lower Manhattan - Cleveland, Ohio - New Orleans, Louisiana - The Catskills, New York - Miami Beach, Florida - Squamish, Canada - San Antonio, Texas - Quebec City, Canada - Canton Valais, Switzerland - Rome, Italy - Taos, New Mexico (thought I haven't skied there either) My travel calendar includes: - Bend, Oregon - Yellowstone National Park - Quebec City, Canada - St Kitts And that's all within the next year, long with plenty more! As you know, tomorrow is my BIG birthday, and since I'm turning 40, I decided to do 40 cities/destinations for turning 40 -- obviously I'm going to be visiting more than 40 cities this year! But perhaps by the end of the year I can list my top 40 cities out of all the ones visited! So far I'm up to 7 destination cities: Lake Tahoe, CA Park City, Utah Salt Lake City, Utah Montreal, Canada Mont-Tremblant, Canada Quebec City, Canada Vail, Colorado And I can't wait to fill up the list!!!
