BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Elisa will be along soon. -Travelin' Tanya | Hi there! Me sleeping late on the weekend is getting up at 7am. But I really can't say that I envy those who get to lay in longer. I do actually and thoroughly enjoy the few hours of quiet around here before everyone else rises up for the day. If you know me, you know that I'm generally known as both the night owl and the early bird. I sleep extremely well and am well rested with definitely less than 8 hours of snoozing. We've got a bit of a busy weekend here for ourselves. This morning we are heading over to Long Beach and the Aquarium of the Pacific for the International Children's Festival and who better to represent at an event like this is the International Peace Choir who is full of children ambassadors representing countries from around the world! These kids go out every day to make a difference in the world and to advocate for peace through song and dance. My sweetheart Cosette is representing none other than Sicily. Each ambassador represents a country of their own ethnic heritage and although Sicily is not technically a country it was grandfathered in to the IPC many years ago and we have lucked out that she can represent the island of Sicily! I even asked her this morning as she was dressed in full costume if she was going to pack it in her luggage for our trip to Sicily in June. I got a huge "NO" from her! Anyhow, after the performance and after going home to change and get ready, we are heading up to LA for the MXMTOON concert that Cosette is very excited about. She received tickets to this concert as one of her Christmas gifts and has been looking quite forward to the concert. I on the other hand have no idea what I'll be walking into. LOL We'll be grabbing a very early dinner in downtown LA before the concert and then heading to Donut Friend after the concert for a sweet treat... I have a few pre-birthday pampering appointments that I had no other time to squeeze them in. And of course I'll be sharing more with you. But as for now I've got a few shows to go watch! See you tomorrow, -Travelin' Tanya |
