Another Sunday, Another FundayBuongiorno a tutti! Today we are heading down to San Diego for the Sicilian Festival! What Fun! It was a tough choice between either this or going to the Vegan World Fest up in LA, one of which we have been going to for the past couple of years. Lots of Vegan food, goodies, booths, entertainment, useful information, and somehow ALWAYS incredibly HOT! I don't know how it works out that way, but it is pretty torturous. Instead we will try something new and exciting and Italian - come on, how could I go wrong! I might not be spending a traditionally relaxing day, like my lucky cousin Elisa...but just knowing that I won't be torturing my body in any shape or form, so today is relaxing enough for me! My issue is that I am a planner - I love making plans. Honestly, ever since I was a little girl, I always had the desire to plan "What's Next?" And I'm still at it...I don't like having any blank pages in my calendar - and thus I have plans that go out to 2017-2018 right now! Because as Elisa's thought of the day states: "You know all those things you always wanted to do? You should do them." Well that's exactly how I feel, what I do, and what I've been encouraging people to do for years! Now, as I stare into the endless selections of my wardrobe choices I just don't know what the heck to wear (ahhh the problems I have). Luckily when I'm on vacation I don't have this problem being the anal packer that I am (read more about this in our List of Lists), but at home I waste so much time just deciding what to throw on! Days like yesterday don't get any better - the weather was perfect and I spent the majority of the day outside on my front porch writing. I did not get sunburned like Tanya, but I did get some nice, healthy color soaking up the rays! I added alot of things to our Favorite Places page and our List of Lists. Please check these out! Tanya and I will also be spending some time updating our Trip Itineraries over the next week, in order to provide more resources for you when planning your own trips. This section will include both past trips as well as future trips that we have yet to go. Today, looks like another sunny day. My plans are simple - relax again...outside! Sometimes, you just need a weekend of no plans to appreciate all the times you are on the go. The kids love these kind of days. They recharge, play outdoors and use their imagination to amuse themselves. I'm looking forward to working on a few Throwback Thursdays pieces - lots of fun stuff coming: Falconry at Dromoland (2012); Scavenger Hunt at the Louvre (2013): Elisa's California Coast Road Trip (1993).
