Trip Planning - Way Out
Hello to you!! Lovely morning here on Long Island. Dropped the kids off, then I dropped off my little Punkin to Doggie Daycare and I'm back home writing.
Today I have a few doctor appointments, so I wanted to be sure that Punkin was safe and sound at "Aunt Cathy's" and the gang at Jo-Mar for doggie day care.

It's very funny how we can get inspiration from the simplest things. I actually was inspired by two things yesterday.
First, I saw how Tanya posted her trip plans for 2024 - some may think that planning this far out is crazy, but let me assure you that time waits for no one and the future becomes now sooner than you think. Unless you actually get something on your calendar to turn your wish into a plan, it may never happen. So, her posting reminded me of this fact.
Secondly, I was taking a little break - hanging out with Punkin, yesterday evening and was flipping around the channels. I caught one of my all-time favorite films, Under The Tuscan Sun, starring Diane Lane, and a cast of wonderful actors. I cannot begin to tell you how much this movie always inspires me, no matter how many times I watch it.

And as usual, it brought me full circle to the idea of following ones dreams, taking chances and manifesting desires into reality. But, moreover, it drives home the importance of taking chances!
As a result of these two things, I am proud to tell you that I have put together my own plan for the next few years. One way or another, I will make it a reality. I know that the difficult time I am having right now financially and being held back by life's challenges (aka: selling my huge house!) will pass soon enough and I'll be able to resume my traveling as before!!
My Travel Plan
February 2019: Kelsey's 13th Birthday Trip: Disney Cruise We have been watching videos, blogs and reading so much about the Disney Cruise! By this point, Kelsey is pretty much an expert on all the various cruise ships, their restaurants and menus, ship activities, room information and routes. We will be booking this strip soon enough!
Summer 2019: Sicily (hoping we can coordinate dates so we can make this a "Cousins Trip")
Taormina, Sicily (credit: thomascook)
Spring 2020 Amsterdam, Brussels, Bruges This may be a busy year since Kelsey will be graduating from 8th Grade, but this trip has to be in the Spring so we are there for the Tulip Festival. I will have to be creative and figure this out!!
Summer 2020 Georgia Tablizi I found this amazing article from GoTravel, written by Josh Cahill. He gives his first-hand account of his visit throughout Georgia, with the most magnificent photos!! 8 Reasons to Travel to Georgia and Tbilisi
