BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Tea time for TanyaHi there and GREETINGS from London! I'm sitting here in our room attempting to upload a number of pictures from yesterday, but Cosette is streaming and the wifi isn't the strongest. So needless to say that things are moving at a snails pace. I suppose for now all you get is the text and when the wifi is moving faster then I can do the uploads... If you can't wait, then please go on to our FaceBook and Instagram pages for pics that were posted on there! So far both yesterday and today were both pretty busy run around all day type of days. Needless to say that the kids are pretty pooped and happy to be back in the room. The SCOOP from yesterday goes as follows... After a lovely breakkie at Cafe Forty One we had walked over to the flat that we are staying at, in hopes of a quick change and to drop off our bags. We had perfect timing and met the housekeeper at the building, were able to do a quick change and were out the door to go and explore!!! Staying across from Kensington Gardens we opted to go walk around both Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Stopping along the way for many picture breaks in this very scenic city park. After walking the entire park it was about time to make our way to Edgerton House Hotel for their vegan afternoon tea. What a gorgeous hotel facade! Of course a must for more pictures... During our wonderful visit and sipping on our tea, the conversation went to travel - as it so frequently does. The kids had expressed how they are rather burnt out and feel the need to cut back. They were also feeling the effects of jet lag - big time! Their eyes were blood shot and heavy. After tea, it was time to begin the journey back to our place so that these kids could nap. Which they did. For hours and hours. I was kinda hoping that they would sleep until morning _ which didn't happen and instead they stayed awake late and didn't get as much sleep as they probably needed. Hopefully they've learned their lesson and hit the sack earlier tonight. SCOOP to look forward to tomorrow includes: Strolling all day long and all over the city. The London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Westimister Abbey, Tube Station, River Thames, Afternoon Tea, Covent Garden, the Theater and much much more! Ciao 4 now, I'm gonna get some rest now. -Travelin' Tanya Photos added on 6/28: Sights from our day in London... |
