What did you decide?Hey Hey Hey and a Happy Day! Why is it a Happy Day you ask? Well why shouldn't it be a happy day is what I ask right back at ya?! Today is Throwback Thursday and I'm very excited that you will have the chance to read Elisa's very fun Throwback for the week "Treasure Hunt at The Louvre". I'll be on Throwback again next week. And I'll be working on a Fun Foodie Friday for your reading delight tomorrow! Elisa and I both had received notification emails that our recently submitted articles have been published by Ezines.com. Elisa had also posted some lovely pictures to Instagram last night, and one of my pictures from Instagram is now being used by Intrepid Travel! The picture is one that I took while on the Mother's Day in Moab trip and it was taken at Arches National Park of the Double Arch. Yesterday I also (finally) posted M is for May and May is for Mendocino, which I hope you've had a chance to read and enjoy the pictures that I've shared with you! We're gonna keep plugging away and hopefully continue bringing you exciting news to share! While Elisa is heading off to go to the lovely Broadway show, "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical," I'll be here working on some trip prep for our upcoming weekend in Santa Barbara, and one in San Diego, as well as finishing up some remaining items for our trip back east, I've got some Travelin' Cousins items that I'd like to check off of my list, and then of course my usual Thursday activities. "People are just as Happy as they make up their minds to be" - Abraham Lincoln I made up my mind to be Jubilant! How about you? Until tomorrow my friends, until tomorrow. -T | Mommy & Me DayI woke up today to the sound of rain, which I always find very soothing and relaxing. However, today I had hoped for some sunshine, since its always more enjoyable traveling into Manhattan on a sunny day. No worries, I'll be driving so no waiting on cab lines outside of Penn Station. I have tickets to see Beautiful: The Carole King Musical , as Tanya mentioned, with my mom, Camille. She is one of my mom's favorite singers, so when I heard the show was opening on Broadway, I knew immediately, she would love to see it. As a little girl, way back in the '70's (hard to believe it was 40 years ago!), one of my mom's favorite record albums was Carole King's Tapestry. I cannot wait to see how they weaved all of these songs into the show today! Catch my review of Beautiful on Monday! In other Travelin' Cousins news, so proud of Tanya for her having having her Arches National Park photograph used by Intrepid Travel. This is really exciting stuff!! And of course, since today is Thursday, we have another installment of "Throwback Thursdays" for your reading pleasure! I hope you get a kick out of the circa 1982 photo of yours truly - gotta love my beret! Today, I am sharing my experiences at The Louvre and how a wonderful tour made all the difference (for kids and adults!) in visiting this massive Paris museum. As always, we love to get feedback - so comment away!! "My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue" - Carole King Enjoy the day! -E |
