BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Driving through Ireland, Montana and Tuscany
Hello and Happy Tuesday.
July is certainly moving along! I've been spending these hot, sunny days with my dear little Punkin and today is no exception.
The past week just flew by. After my dad's funeral last Monday (7-1-19), I don't have a clue where the week went.
Slowly, I've been getting back in the "travel" mode - reading all my favorite online travel sources. Yesterday, I spent a few hours making my way through information about Pittsburgh and assembling a travel itinerary for a 4-day trip. But, I will admit, I'm still in the dumps a bit and doing my best to pull myself out of this emotional exhaustion. One step at a time, I supposed is all one can do. Moving right along, I found this very enjoyable article from The Discoverer Blog,"6 Destinations You Should Explore By Car"
These places include:
IRELAND
In the Summer of 2011, I ventured to Ireland, and took the girls on their first European trip. We drove all around this gorgeous green country from County Cork to Killarney, taking horse and buggy rides to kissing the Blarney Stone and looking up at the Cliffs of Moher. MONTANA One of my favorite "driving trips" was with my dear cuz Tanya and her brood on our Yellowstone trip back in April 2014. We drove all throughout Montana, Wyoming and Idaho, visiting both Yellowstone National Park as well as Grand Teton National Park. Absolutely some of the best beauty America has to offer! TUSCANY I had the absolute joy of visiting Italy for nearly a month back in August of 2014. During this trip, I drove from Florence to San Gimignano and back, taking in the lovely countryside. Truly an experience not to be missed!! So many places to see!!! Onward with my day - have a wonderful one!! -Travelin' Elisa xoxo |
