Cleveland for the MLB All Star Game - Day 2 and a quick Sicily review in pics
Hello all my dears!
GREETINGS from Cleveland, Ohio!
And as most recent blogs go, I must apologize for my recent absence. It was like I was on vacation or something! LOL
Well of course as you know - I was! And for a while there I was keeping you up to date with all of the fun, exploring and even mis-adventures. But then all of a sudden just like that I went MIA... BAD TANYA! (insert a slap on my wrist here) I was in Sicily for a week and wasn't able to even once bop on here. UGH I did however make sure that I vlogged for Instagram and that I posted some pics here and there on both Instagram and on FaceBook. I hope that you were amongst those who managed to follow along! Sicily was an amazing trip. What an absolutely wonderful time we had... Here is a quick look or should I say a snap shot from Sicily:
Of course I have plenty more pictures to share - but I wanted to give you just a sampling.
And then just like that the week was up and as much as we didn't want to leave. We knew that we had to... So it was time for the ridiculous part of my journey to begin - where I took a flight with Dave Y. and the kids back to LAX. Dropped the kids and my luggage off. Switched Daves!! Yup you read that correctly - dropped off Dave Y. and Dave B. met me to catch our flight to Cleveland. I was traveling for well over a day in airports and in the air. It's a good thing that I enjoy traveling in all aspects, because none of this bothered me whatsoever. We were on our way to Cleveland for the 90th annual MLB All Star Game and festivities... And yesterday was all about ALL STAR SUNDAY and the Celebrity Soft Ball Game - which was great fun. I kid you not when I tell you that I had a smile plastered on my face for the entire event and that my cheeks were sore for all the smiling!! I do so love baseball and the ASG with all of the energy and it's ambiance really excites me like no other.
Then after the game and some fabulous souviner shopping it was time to make our getaway and head to the Cleveland Metropark Zoo for the Asian Lantern Festival of Lights.
What an adventure. What a day. Actually I have no idea how many hours it was. But it's been fab and I'm ready to get on out there and do some more!
I'll try to be back tomorrow, hope to see you here! -Travelin' Tanya |
