Recap of The Lion King

Howdy Folks,

Wow - it’s a HOT one today! 

I had to haul my bootie over to the laundromat today, and after I put in my wash, I hustled back in the air conditioned car.

It’s just one of those days that even going to the pool is too hot and humid. The forecast predicted rain today, but I didn’t realize it was supposed to begin after 4pm (EST) today.

Moving right along, we had a sweet time at the movies last night.  Went to see The Lion King, as you know from yesterday’s Scoop.

I guess, if I had to describe it in one word, it would be BEAUTIFUL.  Wow - what a job was done on the computer animation - such realism!!!

If you appreciate creativity, this is a must-see for you!

I’ll be doing some pampering later (another air conditioned locale) to get my mani-pedi done.  It’s been WEEKS since I’ve gotten a pedicure and I have an “open-toe” shoe event tomorrow. lol

Me and the girls will be going up to The Bronx to Wave Hill for their cocktail event to celebrate the new published book by Timber Press, Nature into Art: The Gardens of Wave Hill.

Crossing my fingers that the weather will be pleasantly warm and not sweltering hot!
