Greetings from Grand Cayman!

Hello once again. I’m staring out at the surprisingly smooth vibrant blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

We arrived here early this morning and I had wanted us to be some of the first ones to make our escape off of the boat. - Not to say that we didn’t have a ton of fun on the boat yesterday.

Today is all about exploring someplace new and you know just how much I look forward to days like this!!

Speaking of yesterday, we spent the day floating around and rolling over the waters of the Gulf.
I woke up to spot the profile of land outside of my balcony. Curious of where we might be I turned on the TV to the info channel to realize that we were hugging the coast of Cuba!

I woke the gang up and was eager to get down to breakfast - only to find that some of my travelin’ buddies were not quite so eager to wake up. Dave was incredibly GRUMPY and Dominic was groaning about waking from his deep slumber.

Okay not a problem - because I am more than happy to go on my own or just with Cosette (who managed to wake up with any complaint).

But it seemed that the boys wanted to in fact come along. And off to breakfast we went.

Being that breakfast was served in a dining room other than where we had dinner - we along with several other hungry passengers were lost on board and even with maps in hand wondering how to get to the breakfast room.

The problem wasn’t so much finding the dining room. It was finding a floor with access to the dining room that proved to be the issue.

Breakfast was lovely and better than my picky Cosette had expected. And after breakfast we had went to play some Harry Potter trivia with a bunch of other Potterheads - LOL

After knowing how much Cosette is a Harry Potter geek - I figured that our team was a shoe in for the win. WELL not quite - although Cosette has always known the answers to each and every Harry Potter question that has ever come up - and has won several other Harry Potter trivia games against other Harry Potter fans (even in London). These questions had proven to be very difficult indeed and we barely got 51% - to which I was shocked!

We stayed behind to play TV tunes trivia and actually came up 1 answer short of winning that one.

We did a bit of shopping and planning our game plan for today before going to have some lunch and then off to play an on-going game of CLUE where clues will be revealed throughout the entire length of the cruise! How fun!
