Covering Long Island & NYC Boroughs
CURRENTLY IN: LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK
Hey there and Hello! Welcome to Walt Disney Wednesday! Today I'm thrilled to be featuring Disney's Boardwalk Inn - one of mine and Kelsey's favorite Disney World Properties - and our 22 reasons to book this resort.
However, before I give you the lowdown on this wonderful Disney property, let me catch you up on what's been happening on my end.
The weather here in New York, and specifically on Long Island has been oppressively HOT! Yes folks, we are having another heatwave. In spite of this heat, I do manage to get outside each day for at least 20 to 30 minutes to get my fill of Vitamin-D. I'm not one for sun bathing, but, I do like to get a little healthy color!
Looking forward, this week has us taking a trip north to the outer borough of The Bronx. I'll be doing a special meet and greet with some of the terrific business owners on Arthur Avenue in the Belmont section of the Bronx. I'm working on a few stories which I'll be sharing with you soon enough during the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
The Boardwalk Inn and Villas - 22 Reasons to Book Your Stay
Now, join me as we take our weekly virtual trip to Orlando's Walt Disney World to The Boardwalk Inn!
With the choice of so many Disney World properties to book when visiting the most magical place on earth, Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas gets our vote for your next stay.
From it's Atlantic coast boardwalk theme to the many food and entertainment options and its proximity within the Epcot resort area, the Boardwalk Inn is hands down my gang's favorite on-site property. But, we are not going to leave it there - here are 22 reasons why this resort should be at the top of your list when booking your next stay.
1. Charming turn-of-the-century theme
The Boardwalk Inn is impeccably designed in a style reminiscent of east coast towns like Coney Island, Atlantic City and Cape May. Its exquisite construction and charming decor takes guests back in time to the turn of the 20th-century with its themed promenade and architecture.
2. Quarter-mile Boardwalk Promenade
The quarter-mile promenade is a delight. Surrounded by water, the Boardwalk Inn promenade consists of dine-in and boardwalk food kiosks with coastal city favorites like hot dogs, giant pretzels. The outdoor bench seating facing the water adds a coastal town feel, which we love.
3. Beautiful atmosphere day and night
Whether strolling the wooden promenade in the light of day looking out over the water or enjoying the fun and festive pier with its strung lights, this property's youthful atmosphere is captivating.
4. Waterfront View
I believe that a waterfront view says it all. Set along Crescent Lake, the boardwalk is surrounded by water with lovely views of the Yacht and Beach Club.
Speaking of Disney World, Tanya and her gang will be traveling back east this Fall for a visit! Me and my gang are planning to do the same in the Spring of 2021!
Here's to a great Hump Day!! See ya back here on Friday!
