Tanya's Daily Scoop
NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 16 DAYS
Lines are just not for me
Wanna know how I feel right about now?
Sure you do.
UGH - Ugh that is exactly how I feel. Maybe you are wondering why...
And I bet it is not at all for reasons that you might think or guess.
It is because of this LATE posting today. I'm not a fan of being LATE.
I'm also not a fan of excuses - but here is mine:
It was just that I was rather wiped out after an all day IPC Board Workshop and that the last thing I wanted to do was stare at the computer and start typing away. If I were any other type of person I probably would've taken a nap - like Dave did! LOL
But that was then and this is now ;)
Since it's late and I'll recap on today in tomorrow's Daily Scoop, let's talk about yesterday and the Vegan Health Faire!
Being that we were originally suppose to go to the Comic Con yesterday and I didn't have a Plan B in place.
ON A SIDE NOTE -
Are you noticing what I've noticed?
There has been an on-going theme this summer and it's been all about having a Plan B and in some cases a Plan C, D, E, F, you get what I'm saying. I think perhaps this is a lesson that I should finally pay some attention to, because I'm so use to sticking with Plan A that when others are involved and I need to move on to a Plan B - I just don't have one, and I kinda really suck at having nothing to do!
Anyhow, let me carry on. Since there kinda weren't any concrete plans and I knew about the Vegan Health Faire I was all over that for the evening - as it was from 4pm-10pm. I also managed to squeeze in a much needed Mani/Pedi - thank heavens...I couldn't bear even looking in the direction of my toes any longer! LOL
So what else did we decide to do before all of that - Dave decided to sleep very late. And then what else but go out to eat! I can't complain - I love food!
Off to Mead's Green Door we went. While over there I ran into someone I know from the vegan world and we could really go on forever just talking about food.
Funny thing is that come hours later and a crowd of over 6k (the number that I heard - how accurate it is...I do not know) I happen to run into this same girl in the mass of people! Go figure!
I had my list of things to try and luckily 2 of them really didn't have too much of a line.
After about an hour and a half and us being fed up with the crowds and hardly being able to move it was time to leave and go eat!
And off we went... Oh well, maybe it'll be more organized next year and maybe I'll even be in town to check it out again :)
Until Monday and yea that's already tomorrow!
