It's Thursday Baby!
And I say that in most loving and affectionate way. Plus, you also don't have to actually be a baby - I'm talking to you too!
I'm in a pretty good mood over here. Not to say that I am generally ever in a not so good mood.
But if you know me - which most of you do... Then you know what gets me all excited - TRAVEL!!

Yuppers - I am BOOKED!
Where to you might ask, or what did I book now?
Well I took care of booking our Rome hotel - for our upcoming trip in March.
And
I BOOKED another cruise!
Sure it may not be for 2017, or even 2018 (I'm kinda already fully booked).
But it is for 2019 and we are going on a Canary Islands and Morocco cruise!
Casablanca, Morocco Las Palmas, Canary Islands
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands
Funchal, Madeira Granada (Malaga), Spain AND Alicante, Spain
As you can see there are other ports as well and for those of you who do not know - this will be a brand new continent for me!
Wow looking back even a mere 10 years ago I would've never seen myself as someone interested in taking cruises. Plus as a vegan, you would think that it might be difficult - but as you've seen even vegans get catered to onboard a cruise ship.

Once upon a time ago, I was mad scared of taking a cruise. The idea sounded wonderful - a floating resort!
Plus as I've already shared with you the fact that before watching any cartoons as a child I was HOOKED on the Love Boat - ahh the memories of sitting next to my beloved Grandmother and watching my favorite show!
Where to you might ask, or what did I book now?

That was until 2008 when my dear friend and travel partner (at the time) Priscilla had suggested that we go on a cruise. GULP!

It was a short one, only over a weekend and although I wasn't ever worried about getting sea sick, I was worried about not seeing land!!!

Well lo and behold everything worked our great and I have now become quite the seasoned cruiser. Back when I had taken my first cruise with Dave and came home with a slew of pictures, I'll never forget what my sis Jet had commented. She told us that there will come a day when we are looking at our cruise pics and we will have taken so many cruises by then that we won't even remember which pic is from which cruise. Well I don't think that is gonna happen.
