CURRENTLY TRAVELING: OUT AT SEA
Where am I?
Greetings from somewhere out at sea!
We’re currently floating around the Gulf of Mexico onboard a huge sea vessel better known as a cruise liner.
While although I have zero connectivity to the outside world or landlubbers, I haven’t forgot about ya’ll and am writing to you here from my balcony.
Cosette and I arrived from Chicago and into Miami yesterday morning. To be picked up by Dave B. and Dominic who took the red-eye from John Wayne airport and into Fort Lauderdale airport, and then drive over to Miami to pick us up.
Stop numero uno was to go find us some acai bowls - check.
Second stop was to get on over to my appointment and get my nails done - check.
After that it was all about getting over to the port and onto the cruise - check.
The rest of the afternoon was spent wandering the ship, assuring that the ship’s chef was aware that he has at least 4 vegans on board - time for him to get creative!
With the weird schedule of waking up at 3am, I opted for us to have an early dinner (we are booked on “my time” dinners) giving us the option of eating at anytime between 5:45p and 9:30p.
After dinner of Sweet and Sour Tofu we had ventured to go and watch Karaoke - not sing, but watch and cheer. And we seriously and quickly became the biggest support/clapping/dancing/singing-from-a-far section possible.
That was FUN - but there is no way that I’m going up there to sing!
And lastly dozing off under the stars while attempting to watch Baby Boss at the Dive-In movie.
Today is one of our days at sea and according to the Fun Times - All in a Day’s Play publication we will have lots of options on how to keep busy.
