On the West Coast again
Hiya and GREETINGS from my couch! lol
Can you believe that I'm finally back???
And I know just as well as you do that I have a whole lot of catching up to do!
Today might be the perfect day to do this, being that it's gonna be a lazy bones type of day without much to do. I have a bit of food shopping to do and of course plenty of unpacking to get to - but the question... Will I actually even start unpacking today?
We arrived back to good ol' smoggy SoCal yesterday after a fab time in Miami. There were sooooo many MLB fans at the airport yesterday - all heading home from the MLB All Star Game and festivities.
I could not believe how packed the airport was for a Wednesday morning. Everyone donning some type of All Star attire and don't even get me started on the bag drop off line...
In all of my travels I have NEVER seen such a long line!!
Honestly if they didn't offer Sky Cap we would've missed our flight!

After a long night, a long wkd, and a long trip we were rather tired. (c)travelincousins.com
My brother picked us up and we made it back to the house before the festivities of Jet's birthday were really under way.
But soon enough we were back on the road again and heading to Seabirds to pick up some lunch and picnic at Newport Beach.
Good food was had and stories were shared. We then headed over to Roger's Gardens. Strolled, admired the beautiful flowers and picked up a few potted plants to bring home with us.

Then after a brief regathering at home we added a few more family members and went to Freesoul Cafe for a lovely dinner.
To end the night we all headed back home to sing to the birthday girl (Jet), have cake and watch an old flick - to which I fell asleep to - but that was no surprise!
I've got lots of pics to sort through and plenty to post. And you'll never believe what I already did this morning...
I booked our hotel for next years MLB All Star Game in Washington D.C. WOOHOO!
It's rather hot here and the A/C is out of order - GASP! We've got the A/C guy coming this afternoon to give us a quote on a new A/C - which btw is one of the greatest inventions in the world!
I'll catch ya either later or tomorrow.
