Elisa Heading to Seventh Street Promenade, Garden City, L.I.
Happy Friday to you!
Today I woke up and boy was it hot out. But the sun was shining which always makes me smile.
I’ve got a bit of a busy day, starting off with a much-needed Mani-Pedi and then a bit of writing.
I will be picking up our “houseguest“ Aunt Ro from the train station mid afternoon. From there we will bring Punkin for her sleepover at Jo Mar.
After that, I’ll let Aunt Ro settle in and then we will, along with the girls, head over to the Friday night Promenade on Seventh Street in Garden City.

Enjoy your Day!!! -E

CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN:
Heading to Monticello
Hi everyone & Greetings from Virginia!
Virginia is known as "the birthplace of a nation."
DID YOU KNOW: Jamestown was the first English settlement in the U.S.A. And it was also the first capital of Virginia.
Well here we are. Vacation has officially begun.
Granted this is our 13th vacation of 2018 and we've already traveled 81 days this year!!
In today's Daily Scoop I'd like to apologize for not bopping on here to say hi. If I were to say that yesterday was an incredibly HECTIC day it would be an understatement.
Taking the red-eye from LAX and into DCA was our final and last stop of what became a super busy day.
I still had to stick some things into my luggage - which I magically always get to exactly 50 pounds - not an ounce over. I like to get my monies worth!!
Anyhow, yesterday was my sister Jet's birthday and the original plan was to spend the entire day with her before heading out.
Well that all kinda changed and I did feel kinda bad about it, but sometimes ya just gotta go with the flow.
I knew that I had to make a quick run out to the mall and I had chipped my nail the night before and had to go for an emergency fix.
And because the kids and their choir had won the silver medal for Team USA on Sunday, they were contacted by a few agents who asked that they come in and see then on none other than Thursday, July 12.
But of course that wasn't it. That wouldn't be enough! I happened to buy Cosette a dress for the luau that we have planned for while we are visiting Maui in September.
She was so super stoked, but I happened to buy the wrong size and we needed to go and change.
Once all of those "chores" had been taking care of and checked off all of my list Then it was time to meet up with the rest of the fam bam at Free Soul Cafe for a celebratory dinner and then off to the airport we went.
