Plans ChangeGood Day to you!! Well, yesterday went off without a hitch -- we went shopping to the local saddlery in Calverton and managed to get new riding boots for Gianna and Kelsey. Their friend, and fellow rider, Sarah and her mom (my friend) Lisa joined us because she also needed new boots. Boy, these kids grow fast! We also purchased some new breeches for Gianna. Kelsey did not like the way they "felt" so she will continue to wear leggings with her chaps for now. We headed over to Westhampton Beach for a yummy lunch at Margarita Grille, one of my favorite restaurants out here, which I will be featuring tomorrow for Foodie Friday - so stay tuned! Today I was supposed to take a drive to Stoney Brook to visit The Long Island Museum with Lisa, but due to some sudden change in plans on her part, we decided to put off that little jaunt until the last week in July, when the girls are in Riding Camp out here again. So, today, I find myself in the unique position of having nothing to do. I was thinking of going to the Maritime Museum in West Sayville, which looks extremely interesting and fun. Then I thought about just staying put, catching up on some travel research for Italy, finishing a few articles, and last but anything but least - exercising. So, that's what I'm going to do! I'm curious to see what Tanya writes about today for Throwback Thursday. She was debating between two trips when we spoke last night, so I will be just as surprised as you! Me and the kids cannot wait to see her, Cosette and Dominic when they hit New York!! Not much longer to wait!! Going to head out for my walk before it gets any hotter and humider (I made that word up!) Have a great day!! -E Sometimes things that happen in life are not part of your plan. But when that happens, don't give up on your dreams! Just find another way to reach them. | Memories and InspirationHi there! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday! Wh00P Wh00P! I'm sure each of you have fond memories of the past. I luv making memories, and Throwback Thursdays are a great way that I can share some of them with you! Although I told you that I was gonna post Victoria BC or Bust, as of yesterday I was a bit divided between that story and one of my first visit to Hawaii. I went back and forth between the two, couldn't figure out which one to finish (it was one of those days!). One reason being, that the pictures for Victoria BC or Bust were on a computer that I no longer use, and it was going to be a hassle to get to them! But guess what? I went through the hassle and fetched them, so now you can hop on over to read why I titled this Throwback Thursday "Victoria BC or Bust!" Enjoy! And let me know what you think about "JM" in the comments! As Elisa has already explained - these kids grow too fast, I am having the same issues over here... the clothing order that I received from Justice for Cosette yesterday was hit and miss. So I had to run out to the Justice for Girls store and exchange a couple of things, only to bring them home to be tried on and find out that I still have to take one of the items back again! Ugh! She wears so many different sizes?! I did manage to almost finish my packing, still have some more to do and to get everything organized. I'll try and wrap most of it up today! We are equally excited to come and see everyone in NY and I know that the girls can't wait to be reunited! When Dave checked the mail last night he found our tickets for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo Festival have arrived via Royal Mail! Yay!!! We are going to THE EVENT OF THE YEAR! So excited! I hope that you are out there making memories and being an inspiration to others as well as to yourself! Peace out! -T |
