I have to say, that with all the weather reports this past week predicting terrible weather, I was more than pleasantly surprised that with the exception of yesterday (The Fourth), the sun was out shining everyday. And, it's out again today here on Long Island! So, while Tanya is on her way to San Diego for a fun-filled couple of days, I'm on my way to Remsenburg. I'm so looking forward to soaking up some rays and spending time outdoors with the kids. I thought you might like to know that while many Americans are flocking to the beaches or the pool this holiday weekend, today marks the 68th anniversary of the introduction of the bikini. That's right, on this day in 1946, the bikini made its debut!! Read all about the History of the Bikini and think about this as you enjoy a swim!! I also have plans to cook and of course, EAT! Now that Gianna has completed her cooking class, she is full of new recipes and Kitchen skills. She suggested that we grill some pizza on the grill later today, which sounds awesomely delish to me! Have a splendid Saturday! -E | Where the Wild Things are!Welcome to another weekend in my life! Hi, I'm Tanya, and I have a problem sitting still! LOL It's not that I'm hyper active or anything like that. But I am addicted to keeping busy, doing things and being productive! It just drives me and then in turn it then drives me to do even more! Is there some type of support group out there for people like me??? Probably not, because we are too busy to attend. But on the other hand they probably do have one that's full of people who think they are like us...but really aren't. Simply because they have to have a support group for absolutely everyone these days! Anyhow, I'm headed out to San Diego. We're going to the Wild Animal Park today, and Jet, Chaplin, & Andrew are actually going to meet us out there sometime early this afternoon and then we'll all go to dinner together at Sipz, luv their Chai! Those guys will head home, and we'll be staying downtown, enjoying our extended weekend! I was sooooo busy yesterday, but everything went off without a hitch! We feasted, we celebrated, we laughed and we sang. We took a break from all the festivities and went to the kids performance. Cosette proudly wore her new Italian costume as the Ambassador of Italy for the IPC, and they even did a bit of line dancing! Later on we went to our local fireworks show, and it was honestly a great show with the best finale ever! Came back home and ended the night with an Ice Cream bar full of yummy sweet goodies!
