BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Ten Things You Should Know About the Dominican Republic
A big Happy Friday to you!!! I don't know about you, but these days just seem to all blend together lol. I'm happy it's the end of the school week, but honestly, I don't have much of a break through the weekend with all the errands I have.
Before I go further with my Scoop, I just wanted to let you know that my house inspection appears to have gone quite well yesterday, so we'll see if I know get an offer to buy it! I'll keep you posted as this would be an amazing way to start off 2019!!! So, where was I - ah, yes - my "to do" list for tomorrow. Well, first thing in the morning, I have to get to the supermarket and Trader Joe's for weekly grocery shopping. Then, we have yet another house showing to an interested buyer. Wow - this year is starting off with a boom. Wonder if it's the purging I did to clear out the old energy in the house; or perhaps the Saging lol. It might also have something to do with the fact that I've been putting so many intentions out to the universe. Who cares, as long as something is working. Lastly, I'm scheduled to get my hair done; then my nails. Once I'm home in the late afternoon, I guess I'll cook a nice dinner and hang with the girls (all three - Gianna, Kelsey and Punkin!). Last night, Kelsey and I started a great game of Scrabble. It got late and we both were tired, so we'll be continuing our game tonight.
My first travel article for 2019 features the Dominican Republic:

Getting ready for our trip to Europe
Tada!
I'm here. However, I am actually having a few issues over here with the server on my end, so I'm not able to do a number of functions that I typically have access to. So if I were to say that I am frustrated that would be an understatement. Anyhow, it's Friday and there is only one week before we leave for Europe. As I left off with you yesterday, I was right in the middle of packing. So, I'm still not 100% finished. But that is okay. Along with my chore of packing comes several mini chores that manage to get me entangled with. So when all is said and done I accomplished a lot, yet it may not appear that way to anybody else. This weekend is not going to be incredibly crazy. However, it will be filled with plenty to do. Cosette is going to do a sleepover tomorrow. Dave and I need to get cracking on his packing. Trying to work on the dinner plans and then Dave and I will be going to the movies with my friend Jodie. Then on Sunday - the first Sunday of the year, we have our fairly new family tradition of making and eating mounds upon mounds of fresh hand-cut pasta. My girl Cosette will be hard at work with the majority of this task. I'll be making the sauce and we will all be digging into the marvels of my very favorite meal on the planet!!! We've got some additional errands to run and stores to shop at, but there's nothing new there. I'm also trying to figure out a good time to schedule a mani/pedi before we depart. I'm gonna head out for now. Catch ya tomorrow. -Travelin' Tanya |
