Now as far as yesterday went...
I was up well before the crack of dawn to take Dave down to the airport in Reno.

And then once back it was time to bust a move and get ready to get our buns back on the slopes!

The slopes were not very crowded at all for being a holiday and we had even decided to skip lunch in order to get more runs in.

All in all we did get more vertical than the day before, but come 3pm Cosette was pretty pooped and her feet were cold. Not to mention that Dominic had tightened his boot well beyond where he should've...
Luckily it wasn't causing any pain, but we he was pretty much stuck in his boot!!!

So once we were back to our room, we had continued efforts to no avail, until breaking out the blow dryer and then finally we were able to free his foot!
We also finally ate and then these guys wanted to play Monopoly...
Board game fun! (c)travelincousins.com
Hours and hours later and after much exhaustion the game still wasn't quite over - but we were, so at that point it was just time to walk away!!
Dinner was served - a nice bowl of creamy Broccoli Cheese Soup.
Yummy and Delish (c)travelincousins.com
We watched a few episodes of the Honeymooners and then I was getting very drowsy and it was time for me to finally hit the sack!
Now to hit the slopes again...
See ya on the flip side, -T

CURRENTLY ON LONG ISLAND
Dreaming About Croatia
It's officially Tuesday, but feels like Monday, with it being a holiday yesterday.
Most of my day yesterday was spent working with Kelsey to finalize her social studies project - a model of Warwick Castle - which, if I do say so myself, turned out gorgeous. Kelsey and I make a great creative team!

I don't know if you remember, but back in June of 2017, Tanya and I had a road trip scheduled from New York to Chicago. Well, because of the personal upheaval I was experiencing at that time, I had to bail on the trip. (insert sad face).
At the same time, Tanya and I had been planning a road trip along the Dalmatian coast of Croatia - something I've wanted to do for years.
This excursion was planned for June 2018. Unfortunately, because of my inability to commit to any travels back in June, Tanya and I decided that it would be best for us to put the Croatia trip on hold.
In retrospect, I believe it was the right decision, as heartbreaking as it is for me to admit. However, my desire to visit Croatia has not diminished one bit!
And wouldn't you know, one of the festivals highlighted happens to in, of all places, Croatia... Sail Week Croatia.
OMG! How amazing does this sound...
From May to September (hardly a week!) the famous boat-party events are organized for group sailboat charters for the summer season along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast!
Choices include a “party” or “adventure” itinerary with your very own skipper to take care of the rest.
This is going on my bucket list, to include WHEN I visit Croatia! Click the article title link above to read about the other wonderful festivals happening around the globe!
