CURRENTLY TRAVELING IN: COLORADO

Hey guys! Today is the day!
We'll be off to Colorado in a bit.

Did everyone check their lotto numbers yet?
What a crazy jackpot?!?!
Anyhow, the winner bought the ticket in Chino Hills, CA - this is where Dream and Star's horse stables is located! Congrats to the winner!!

Now back to me - I'm so disgusted with myself.

I hit a bit of a snafu.

Ya see my daughter, Cosette is a HUGE procrastinator and I let something slip by without insisting that she get to "it" ASAP.

Because what happens next is that I forgot, and of course Cosette didn't care to remember.

Here's the situation:
Santa bought both Dominic and Cosette lovely new ski outfits.
Well Cosette who is difficult to fit, never got around to trying hers on.
I realized this yesterday as the skis and gear were being all packed up.

Yea it was one of those "oh crap" realizations. Not good! I took the pants to Cosette to try on and I'm sure you can guess what ---- they didn't fit. Ugh.

Now as far as this morning, I already promised to take Cosette to the stables one last time before we head out on this vacation and go to the airport (3:30p); but now it looks like I need to return these pants and cross my fingers that I find something that works for her.
Otherwise we're packing last years pants - which really bums me out. 

I'm not much of a nagger - in fact I hate nagging.
From what I hear, I was quite the nagger when I was a child - but I'm so over it.
So of course I didn't nag Cosette back when I asked her to do something (try on the pants). I should've insisted, because I would've had more time to mend this situation. 

Then there were another couple of annoying but not detrimental things that took place yesterday - packing the ski gear took soooo long that I could only manage to pack Dave's luggage for the Colorado trip - whereas I wanted to start the packing for the Quebec trip (since I'll only be home 2.5 days between trips).

Another thing is - I can't find one of my coats! This bothers me to the high heavens.
I thought it must've been at Dave's but it wasn't.
Not that I'm taking it on this trip, but I am taking it to Quebec. I will be on a mad hunt this morning before tackling the return, the stables, and heading to the airport.

Throwback Events in NYC

Hello!  Hope you are doing well!

A bit disappointed (but not surprised) that I am not the winner of the Power Ball jackpot.  Congratulations to the winners!! It was certainly an exciting couple of weeks!

Anyhoo, today is Throwback Thursday.  There are some interesting events happening right now that harken back to the "day."  Retro is so in these days for both the baby boomer generation as well as the newer generation who is intrigued by the old.
