BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Happy Saturday!!! And what a windy one it is here on Long Island!!
I'm actually having my hair done, bright and early this morning. I'm trying to get all my beauty treatments done in preparation for our Disney trip next week.
Last night I had my nails done, today is hair and next week, I'll bring the girls to get their nails done.
I cannot believe that a week from today, we are going to be leaving. The girls are sooo excited and now that they are older, we can enjoy hanging out together differently than when they were kids.
Moving right along
As you may know, Tanya will be traveling to London this June (prior to meeting me in Sicily) to attend the Yankees-Red Sox game.
Funny enough, I stumbled upon this article about this big baseball game in Your AAA Daily:
The Yankees and Red Sox Take Their Rivalry to London
Each time the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox reignite their intense rivalry – arguably the best of its kind in sports – there is a constant: home-field advantage. One team always has it. read more...
So, for you baseball fans, it might be a good time for you to visit jolly old London and take in an Major League Baseball game across the pond!!
Have a fantastic day!!
London and Sicily on the Horizon
Hi guys. I'm here!
Sorry I'm late. I was totally laying around under my snuggly blanket and listening to the sound of the pouring rain.
Then Dave had the lovely idea (last minute) that we should go out to breakfast. I was all over that idea! So we went to the Green Tomato in Brea and each ordered a yummy Vegan Scramble Bowl.
It's one of those very RARE weekends that I don't have much going on - I was hoping to be in Chicago this weekend.
So I'm not entirely sure what we'll be up to. I'm a gal who needs plans!
Speaking of plans, I've got plenty. Whew!
And as of yesterday we are happy to share with you that all of our Sicily accommodations are now booked.
Of course before Sicily for us is going to London. The trip became such because of the Yankees playing the Red Sox right there in London at London Stadium located within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
While in London you can be sure that we will be participating in my all time favorite and oh so traditional thing to do in London - Afternoon Tea!
I've been deciding between all of the oh-so-many places that now offer vegan afternoon tea and of course the ones that are already my favorites. I'm sure it'll be a little of both. New places to try and old places that I do so enjoy.
We are also planning to see a concert at St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
I also have finally adjusted my summer trip to where everyone is happy with it and I will actually be home for more of July than I have been in years. Many years.
I'm gonna sign off now and say tootles,
