Pampering Day and Taste of Sicily Trip UpdateWell, hi there! Moving along this week quickly, and here we are already at Thursday. I woke up to a dusting of snow this morning, but nothing like the snow that Tanya is enjoying in Lake Tahoe!! I'll be doing a little pampering today - getting my hair done at Ismari's Hair Place this morning  (c) travelincousins.com I'm looking forward to having my scalp massage during my hair washing and a relaxing blow out. In this way, I'll be all ready for the exciting In-Store Travel Event this weekend at Vera Bradley. I sure hope to see some of our beloved followers in person. I've gotten the word from a few that they will be attending. If you do attend, please do not forget to show your coupon for the $10 off $50 for any purchases you may make!!  Well, my relaxation won't be too long because then I have to run to pick up the girls from school and get Gianna to a doctor appointment. Home for dinner and then straightening up for tomorrow when my home will be photographed with some updated real estate sales pictures. Yes folks, this house is still for sale and I'm confident that we will find our perfect buyer this Spring. Fingers crossed. In the meantime, I'll be working on my Sicily plans. As you know, Tanya and I booked our accommodations for our upcoming Taste of Sicily Trip in June/July 2019, and pretty much have our itinerary for our East Coast of Sicily destinations planned out. I still need to book air flights and rent a car. When Tanya returns from Tahoe, we'll be having a phone pow wow to sort the rest of the details out. Yup the AVALANCHE WARNING has been lifted and we are gonna go skiing. WooHoo!!!  For now please enjoy a brief little taste of what yesterday was about... My FaceBook status yesterday: "With the ski resorts closed today we decided to come to the ice skating rink (best ice I’ve seen in years) and being we have the place to ourselves I’ve been coaching the kids from the sidelines - completely jealous since I’m not out there! *Because I didn’t pack my skates and I refuse to wear rentals.
