February 1st, 2015 - Tanya's Quebec Winter Carnival Trip: Day 8

It's a SUPER Sunday!

Welcome to the first day of February!

Still in Quebec over here...
Brrr - Layers Layers Layers!
With temperatures feeling like -22F with the windchill. 
This Quebec Winter Carnaval must be an absolutely fun event for these crowds over here to brave the absolute chill to the bone weather!

While most of you are gonna be plopped in front of the boob-tube for Super Bowl Sunday, and weather you are watching it because you are a fan, you gambled on the game, or are just interested in watching the new and usually outrageous commercials. 

We on the other hand will be enjoying our last day on vacation here in Quebec!
And as I mentioned it is FREEZING! 

Last night the feels like temperature was -19F, and with that I can definitely say that I am freezing my booty off! BRRR

What great fun we had at the Carnaval yesterday, inspite of the incredibly cold weather. 

We had a scrumptious Hot Maple Drink - oh yeaaaa, of course we also had some Maple Taffy!! 

We then played on a giant foosball table - which was slightly embarrassing when we realized that we were going the wrong way! DUH

We watched the World Snowshoe Championships, saw the International Snow Sculpture Event, Dominic and Dave played hockey and held their own along side and amongst the Canadians, we walked through the not so warm Ice Palace, and did much much more!

As of tomorrow we be back in warm and sunny southern California (which everyone should already know by now is NOT my favorite).

And then the countdown for my next trip with is 5 days away!!! Yup, you read that right 5 days until my next trip! 

So, for now I'm gonna go enjoy the last day of this one and may the best team win!!!
