A Look at the Disney Dining Plan Options

Yes!! We got the call today at 5:45 that the schools would be closed today due to the impending storm.

Up until 9am this morning, there wasn't a flake of snow to be seen, but then all of a sudden, about 15 minutes later, the snow had started to come down!

My kiddos are still tucked in their warm, cozy beds, as is Punkin, as I'm writing.  Looks like we'll probably be stuck in the house, which is totally ok with me.

Today, I have to book our Disney Dining Plan - oops - I keep forgetting to book this.  It is much more economical to get the dining plan so that is why we always purchase it.  

Essentially there are 3 basic dining plans:

• Quick Service 
• Dining Plan  
• Deluxe  

We always choose the middle "Dining Plan" as we find it's more than enough.  It's not cheap, but generally, speaking, less expensive than paying cash.

Here are the 2019 Disney World Dining Plans.  Adult packages have not seen a change, but the child package prices did increase slightly.  Here’s the details.

Adult – per night
Child – per night
(children are 3-9 years old in Disney prices)

Quick Service Dining Plan

• 2 quick-service meals
• 2 snacks
• 1 refillable mug

Per Day: $52.50 Adult   $23.78 Child

Regular Dining Plan

• 1 table-service meal
• 1 quick-service meal
• 2 snacks
• 1 refillable mug

Per Day: $75.49 Adult   $27.98 Child

Deluxe Dining Plan

• 3 meals (any combination)
• 2 snacks
• 1 refillable mug

Per Day: $116.25   $43.49 Child

My plan is to call today to get this booked!
Being stuck in the house, today will also allow us to get fully packed!

I am the traveler!

Greetings from SoCal.

Not a particularly exciting day. Lots of online "chores".

I'm still waiting to hear back about the condition of my damaged luggage. 

Cosette worked last night (because she forgot to mention that she can't work on Monday nights) and the 3 of us went to choir without her.

Dominic worked with the kids, warming them up and working on a specific dance. 

Dave and I were in a very busy board meeting. Luckily I managed to get us out of there on time and then we went to go pick up Cosette. 

Since we got there early, we decided to go in and embarrass her. LOL

The funny thing was that of course she wasn't really embarrassed and the other employees and manager had recognized Dave (because he just about lives at this restaurant when we are out of town and not having dinner together). 

​So it was kinda funny when Cosette came out to the car and told us how once we walked out that they figured out the who's who and said "ohhhh so your mom is the traveler?!"

Not all too much going on today either. Ever since not going to Chicago my schedule has been all out of wack.

I do hope to be productive with the time I have today. Maybe I can figure out the exact dates for our next trip to WDW!

Hopefully I'll get more done than that. LOL
