From the left coast to the right coast

Well well well, here we are back in NYC!

We left Los Angeles (and all of the fires) yesterday and we on our way...

Arriving at the airport with plenty of time to relax and not have to run to the gate is always nice.      *Speaking of running through airports it reminded me of this hair raising story/experience.

We choose to always opt out of the DNA scrambler - and this usually takes forever. But the lines were quite short and the process went a bit faster than usual. Although I personally think that they (TSA) purposely make those of us choosing to opt out wait and wait and wait - for no apparent reason at all....oh well, it isn't gonna stop me from continuing to opt out!

And then it was time to go up up and away...

Then somehow as soon as we were in the air I was hungry (maybe because I didn't have lunch yet).

And make all the vegan jokes that you want, but yes I do enjoy eating lettuce! LOL

The five hour flight was pretty good and with only minor turbulence. I was able to watch 2 movies: Big Sick and Home Again (which were entertaining enough) and then it was already time and we were beginning to land! 

Upon arrival I found the terminal to be extremely quiet, which was kinda odd. 
There was also a huge Star Wars display - getting ready for the upcoming December 15th release.

Continuing to make our way out to the curbside, we past plenty of photo ops and a couple of things were Art displays by Charles Fazzino. Cool stuff!

We were picked up by a cousin and came over to my Grandma's. 

It'll be a fairly mellow day and it was snowing when I woke up. Let's see how it goes!
