Tanya's Daily Scoop
NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 9 DAYS
Future bookings and disappointments...
I spent the morning working on bookings. Actually I even fell asleep last night at the computer...working on bookings!
You know that my brain runs on travel, and I love being productive, so when I get things booked and squared away there is a lovely sense of relief in knowing that all I have to do is work on the itinerary and pack!
The particular trip that I am working on does not depart until August of 2016...
If you have been following along then you now exactly where I'm heading to.
If not, there are clues that can be found on the site...almost like a scavenger hunt! LOL
Would you like to take a guess?
Go ahead, take a try and answer below in the comments :)
*More on this trip in an upcoming Travelin' Tuesday ;)
Another thing I was booking was our rail tickets for February, in which we will be heading out via train to Montréal, on the Adirondack Scenic Route which has been running as a daily service since 1974 - and has been voted one of the ten most scenic train journeys in the world by Condé Nast Traveler magazine. Dave is the one who told me about this and since we are such suckers for things of beauty, we need to go check this out!
Through all of my planning the one thing that I can't seem to avoid is having things come up on dates that I'm either out of town or unable to participate - most recently being:
America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride - taking place while we are abroad on the Return to Azores and more Trip.
So it looks like we will have to skip this years ride.
Well at least we had already planned on adding 2 new rides/locations to our calendar for 2016 - The Monterey Sea Otter Classic and Crested Butte, Colorado.
So I guess it kinda balances out?!
Guess what I did yesterday...
I went shopping - I just can't say away!
But, I also baked cookies while at home and made a very unusual tho quite tasty soup - Lasagna Soup!
I'm such a Homemaker!
Catch back here tomorrow,
-T
