One Day Away From 2015Here we are, so close to the end of 2014 and the start of 2015. I can't believe it! How are you today? It's Travelin' Tuesday here at Travelin' Cousins and Tanya and I have been busy with upcoming trip bookings. Most of what we've been working on the past few days has been . Our goal is to have the accommodations all booked by weeks' end for all of the cities we will be traveling to on this amazing trip. Tanya's and Elisa's Milestone Birthday Eastern Europe trip Currently, we're working on finalizing our stay in Krakow and Vienna. So far, we are booked in hotels for Prague and Budapest. About to book a hotel for Bratislava. As far as Krakow and Vienna we are considering private apartments to give us more flexibility for cooking and eating. I think Tanya has some more to tell us about the details of these prospective accommodations. Today, the temperature dropped, so it really feels like Winter here on Long Island. Looks like another cold New Year's Eve in New York this year. We'd love to hear what you are doing this year! Can you share with us? We also look forward to your continuing votes! ---->---->---->---->----->-----> See you back here tomorrow!! -E | 2015 is Getting Closer!!Hello Beautiful People! With only 2 more sleeps to go, the end of the year is near! 2014 has been an absolute blast with plenty of travel for this Travelin' Cousin! And for Travelin' Tuesday I thought that I'd do a quick recap: I have roughly calculated 138 days (19 weeks and 5 days) of travel for 2014 (if I missed anything it could actually be more)!!! I went to places such as: Aspen, Colorado Mammoth, California Vail & Breckenridge, Colorado Park City, Utah Jackson Hole, Wyoming Las Vegas, Nevada Lake Tahoe, California & Nevada Rome & Sorrento, Italy Whistler & Vancouver, Canada Washington DC Virginia Beach, Virginia NYC Moab, Utah Catalina Island, California And now I'm gearing up, ready to kick off 2015 with at least another 19 weeks of travel! Yippee!! Countdown to the first trip of 2015 in 7 days! Other planning and bookings that happened this week have been for Tanya's and Elisa's Milestone Birthday Eastern European Trip, and Dave's flight to visit us in Utah for the Ski Utah & Tahoe Road Trip. Yesterday, I sent... Elisa a few properties to look over for Krakow, and Vienna. As I was searching out properties for both of these cities, a thought had hit me about how Krakow is definitely NOT very vegan friendly and so staying in a luxury apartment (with a kitchen), would probably be a great idea! (I'm not a fan of going hungry - lol) I found an apartment that has absolutely rave reviews and an amazing location! I'm hoping that Elisa likes it as much as I do, and that I can go ahead and book it! As far as Vienna goes... I found a few just lovely hotels, also with superb locations, and I'm a very eager beaver to get both of these cities booked before we ring in the New Year! Another booking that I'd like to do within the next day or two is for a couple of fun winter excursions that I have planned for us while we are traveling in Quebec at the end of next month on the Winter Carnival Quebec Trip. Hope you also have lots of fun planned for 2015 :) We'd love to hear all about your plans in the comments. Please drop us a few lines! And I'll catch ya back here tomorrow! -T |
