Looking back at our trip to Colonial WilliamsburgHi there. Here I am! And I (actually we...both Elisa and I) have been BAD BLOGGERS. It's been more than a week since I've been on here and since Thanksgiving(ish) when Elisa left for her Florida Disney trip that she's checked in... I want to really truly apologize for being such a FLAKE. As you know the last you heard from me, my gang was off to Colonial Williamsburg and the surrounding area. We went, we had a lovely trip - with the exception that Cosette was under the weather and not an eager participant for a number of things - and now we are back. We did things like Christmas shopping at the Christmas Market in our Nations capital - Washington DC.     We explored and checked out The Yankee Candle Village and Christmas tree lighting.    And then headed over to the Grand Illumination at Colonial Williamsburg... And that was all done on just the first day!    But since the air was filled with smoke, Cosette was rather uncomfortable and opted to stay in the next day as Dave, Dominic and I went back to Colonial Williamsburg to experience it in the daylight.      The following day Cosette was feeling back to herself and we had gone to Busch Gardens Christmas Town.       And since arriving back in good ol' southern Cali less than a week ago, we've had recitals, tree shopping, tree decorating, family night at the movies, many meals, lots of Christmas shopping, and 2 trips to San Francisco! So to say that I've been busy would be downplaying just how hectic my days have been. My wish for you is for a peaceful and blessed holiday and I hope to be back soon - maybe not tomorrow (although I'd love to get back into that habit) but soon. Signing off, -Travelin' Tanya |
