Tanya's Daily Scoop
NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 23 DAYS
Holiday Events and Cheer!
So as of yesterday there were 4 things left to do before Christmas and after a bit of scheduling drama and a few headaches, we managed to complete 2 out of the 4. YAY!
We went tree shopping and then came home and got to decorating. The girlies (Mika & Chaplin) were so excited and had so much fun!
I'm glad that the tree is up and that we don't have to squeeze in tree shopping to the rest of our hectic schedule.
In order to make this happen last night, Dominic had to forgo his classes. And since he didn't want to miss out on the tree shopping - that is exactly what he chose to do. (Since no one else was being flexible with their schedule!)
Which brings us to today and it'll be another horsey filled day and Cosette will be taking a lesson.
Now as I promised - here for W2GW (Where to go Wednesday) are some of the Holiday Events that we are participating in before Christmas:
107th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade and Ring of Lights
Hailed as “one of the top ten holiday happenings in the nation” by the New York Times:
Beautiful multi-million dollar yachts, kayaks, canoes and other small boats will light up the harbor as a dazzling array of holiday lights and music fill the air at the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade. Many of the boats will be richly decorated with animated Christmas scenes accompanied by music and costumed carolers.

AND there's even an unplanned BONUS for us:
The Biggest Tree at The Grove in Los Angeles
Complete with Santa and his reindeer streaking across the sky. Los Angeles’ largest Christmas tree is a 100-foot tall, white fir tree with more than 15,000 lights and 10,000 festive ornaments, there is a fountain water show set to holiday tunes, Snowflakes float from above (every night at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m), this place is sure to elicit “oohs” and “ahhs”. While you’re there you can try to catch Santa in his gingerbread-themed workshop.

Well I can't wait! I LOVE the Holiday season and tend to get/go a bit Gung Ho!
The rest of the clan over here still have much shopping/prepping to be done. They are much more of your typical last minute type of peeps!
