It's a Snow Day!
Yay, we woke up to snow! Our first snow of the season!
While I wish it would snow the entire time that we are here, I'm not too sure that the rest of the family feels the same way.
Well snow or no snow, we needed food and off to the market and the bakery we went!

During my last visit and first visit to Babka Bakers I had inquired about Vegan baked goods - sadly to which they had NONE.
Well I didn't lose hope and I had shared with them that if they would add some vegan goodies that it would surely attract more customers and that I'd definitely be able to send fans of (c)VEGANFOODGASMS to eat there...
Fast forward a few months and guess what I found:

So of course I walked out of the bakery with 3 of these Apple Turnovers!
And the minute that the kids got to sink their teeth into the flaky goodness we knew that it was worth the wait and thankful that we were patient vegans.

Definitely nothing exciting to write about. But visiting doesn't need to be exciting. That's not what it's about!
