Painting the town in Las Vegas
Hiya folks and GREETINGS from Las Vegas!
As you know, yesterday we made our way out here to this oasis in the desert.
Once in Vegas proper, we made a beeline to Ronald's Donuts!
Friday is the only day of the week that they make French Crullers and the only place anywhere that I've even found vegan French Crullers! Yes I admit to being a French Cruller fan and thankfully I had called in an order ahead of our visit, because once we had arrived all the rest of the French Crullers were SOLD OUT! I had even faked out the gang during our drive over when I pretended to make a call to the donut shop only to be disappointed by finding out that they were SOLD OUT.
The only one who is as much of a fan is Dominic and he was napping, so all of my great acting abilities were wasted on Dave and Cosette who were looking forward to other donut varieties anyhow.
The only thing that Dave would care about was if they sold out of Donut Holes. He pops those things like popcorn! LOL
I know. I know. We didn't have lunch yet and we did dessert first, but we are in Las Vegas so it doesn't count and it stays in Vegas right?!
Lunch was next and I have plenty to tell you about this lovely NEW VEGAN CAFE - but since we are hungry right now and need to go eat our late breakfast, I'll only leave you with these tantelizing drool worthy pictures until I get back.
I'll share a lot more with you at that point, because you too are gonna want to head over to Vegan Bites asap! VEGAN BITES- |
After that scrumptious meal, we went to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area...
Funny story about this visit...which I'll share when my stomach isn't grumbling. Right now it's calling out "FEED ME"!
Next up in my photo album of Day 1 in Vegas was after checking in and heading over to Caesar's Palace to go see funny man Jim Gaffigan at the Colosseum...
After the show and many laughs, we opted to take a nice stroll back to our hotel and to enjoy a yummy dinner at Nacho Daddy on the way back to our room.
As noted, I will share more at my earliest convenience. I hope that the pictures hold you over for now and that you enjoy your Saturday.
