New Week, New MonthI cannot believe it's December already! I get freaked out when I realize that it will be 2015 in a few short weeks! Yesterday was not only the last day of November, but also the last day of our cousins' New York visit. Tanya will be heading back home tomorrow (Tuesday) to Southern California. We spent our last day together at the new Broadway musical, Honeymoon in Vegas, starring Tony Danza. A good time was had by all, and it was the perfect way to end the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. This show is still in previews, but will officially open on January 15, 2015, so, be sure to catch my review Tony Danza is The Boss in Honeymoon in Vegas and get your tickets. It's a great musical for the whole family!! This "Where to Go Wednesday" I am going to link some great links for happenings during this holiday season around the New York/Long Island area! I thought I'd also feature a different thing to do each day from today through Christmas Eve for your holiday fun! Well, I'm off to get my day started with my monday morning errands! Hope it's the start of a wonderful week and brand new month for you!! -E | 31 Days until 2015Wowzers! And only 24 more days until Christmas! My all time FAVORITE holiday!!! Happy December 1st! The first day of the last month of 2014, and as usual, a super busy month it will be! The kids and I will be heading back to SoCal tomorrow, and immediately back into the groove of things! December is probably my favorite month of the year and is always a very busy month... Maybe that's why it's my favorite?! Generally speaking, I try not to plan any trips during the month of December because it means that we will miss out on too many of the holiday events/performances for the kids, and missing out on sharing this wonderful month with my two cutie pie nieces! Plus, as you probably already know I usually only like to take Ski trips in the winter months, and the kids and I are totally stoked that it's almost ski season!!! Our first trip will be a road trip to Park City, Utah! I'm still deciding if we will extend this trip, and add Tahoe on the list, making it a loop. And being that this is a road trip - I have the flexibility to make that decision at the last minute!! Speaking about this ski trip to Utah... Tedd, Elisa, and I started talking about the possibility of us all meeting out there!!! -More on this tomorrow for Travelin' Tuesday! And now for the scoop... Yesterday turned out to be so much fun! We had a super terrific Brunch at Blossom on Columbus - I honestly think that this was the best meal on this entire trip!!! And that I will definitely be doing a Foodie Friday on this meal! After our amazing meal, and a nice uptown stroll, we began to make our way to the Nederlander Theatre to meet up with my Travelin' Cousin and her gang... We were all there to watch 'Honeymoon in Vegas' starring Tony Danza. Be sure to read Elisa's review on this very entertaining and funny new Broadway show! Cyber Monday $49 Tickets for 'Honeymoon in Vegas' Hurry! Act now!!! I was sitting next to Dominic and he had laughed throughout the entire production! He really LOVED it and even gave them a standing OVATION!!! But then once the show came to an end, and after we stood outside the stage door (Elisa's tradition), it was time to all say our good byes :( And there you have it, another fun night with the cousins...until we meet again! (Definitely for the Yellowstone trip in April, and maybe even sooner!!!) As for today, we're just gonna be unwinding and hanging out at my Grandma's (although she is still in Florida), my dad is here and my cousin Carlos came to visit us last night, and will be back to visit us again tonight!! Hope you all have a joyous & wonderful day! -T And one last thing...please vote for us :) PS - if you missed out on any of the pictures or yesterday's scoop click here! |
