We are off to a great start

Sorry to post this so late in the day. But I was having some internet issues at our hotel this morning.

Last we left off we were leaving Timeless Coffee and going to make the rounds in Oakland and San Francisco. With the big event being the San Francisco Giants vs Chicago Cubs game at AT&T Park.
After picking up some dinner to be eaten at the game and some other goodies for the remainder of our road trip, we took a nice stroll around SOMA (South of Market) and Yerba Buena Gardens...

Even walking past the "Jack" London birthplace - but of course I was walking at pace and I didn't have my camera out at the time. Aww SHUCKS!
*London was born near Third and Brannan Streets in San Francisco. The house burned down in the fire after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake; the California Historical Society placed a plaque at the site in 1953.
Then it was game time! And although I happened to be rooting for the Cubs, I had a difficult time rooting against the Giants. I've always been known to go up to SF to catch a game and cheer on the home team Giants!

...And then there is Buster Posey - one of my faves.
So when he hit a 3 run homer in the bottom of the first inning, I was actually excited - but since I was decked out in Cubs gear I managed to keep my mouth shut and try not to look like I was happy for him!
All in all although the Giants won, it was a good game and we had a great time.
After the game we drove another hour and bunkered down in Santa Rosa.
Today we are off to Mendocino! Ahhh Mendocino.
M is for May and May is for The Millennium and Mendocino!
