New Travel Articles Everyday
Honestly, I had to think about what day it was. I'm writing my column today at 6AM. As it turns out, I did not sleep all night.
I can't for the life of me tell you why I wasn't able to sleep, but I'm completely wide awake and not the least bit tired at this point.
Considering that Mercury is in Retrograde till the end of this month, I'm thinking it may be the cause. In any case, it is what it is and I'll probably fall out for a few hours after I finish writing.
Last night, me and the girls stayed in. We usually attend the Seventh Street Promenade in Garden City on Friday nights, but we decided instead to stay in and watch movies.
Not to mention, the weather was on and off raining, so our decision to stay home made the most sense.
Gianna suggested Black Panther, the Marvel movie. She absolutely loves Marvel and she's gotten her mom hooked!!
As I've mentioned many times, Tanya and I have been working hard to make our blog more interesting and fun for you!
So, every weekday, we will be posting a new "List-Based" Travel Article about somewhere or something different.
We'll link it at the bottom of both of our columns, and remember, if you like something in our blog - one of our adventures; an experience; facts, information - please forward our blog or respective article to anyone you think might enjoy it!!
As for today, I'll be writing my little butt off - lots of articles to get written and more exciting stuff to work on to be announced on Monday!!
I'll also be hitting the gym again with my kiddos. Gianna is really very disciplined about working out and her commitment to getting healthy and in shape is really starting to pay off!!
Oh, forgot to mention, the nail salon I have been going to for nearly 15 years was giving our lovely, huge peaches to its customers last weekend.
That's it for the excitement of my day -- enjoy your Saturday!!

What a delicious surprise!
While I was out and about like an early bird yesterday, today was the first day in who knows how long that I gave myself a leisurely morning and stayed in bed past 8am. Not to say that I wasn't laying there reading around 6am, but little me actually dosed back off in slumberland and didn't wake back up until after 8a!
I had a fabulous surprise when I had arrived home yesterday and found Cosette in the kitchen teaching her cousins Mika and Chaplin how to make home made pasta!!!
Home made pasta is one of my absolute favorites and regardless of just about anything I will indulge in a plate and be in love.

I hadn't had any lunch yet and it was just perfect!
If you don't know how to make fresh home made pasta at home then I highly recommend you to do what is second best and order yourself some...
The rest of the afternoon was mostly spent hanging out with family. Little Chaplin who missed her cousin Cosette ever so dearly, had wanted to have a slumber party with all three girls.
So in addition to the memory making and learning experience of making home made pasta. The girls had played board games, had a braid train, opted for pizza for dinner and s'mores for dessert. Hopped into their jammies watched a movie and then cuddled up together and finally fell asleep.

I had worked on some more travel plans and made some decisions about what to do in Aruba, Curacao and Turks & Caicos. And while I don't have bunches planned for today I'm sure I'll figure something out!
