BRAND BALLOT'S TOP 100 MOM BLOGS FOR 2018!!
Off to Washington StateHAPPY SUNDAY! AND GREETINGS FROM LAX! I'll also go ahead and say good morning to you.. Although I don't have any idea as to when you are getting a chance to read this. Nor is it really even yet morning over here - it's still pitch black outside and since I do not live in a place where it stays dark all day long, I think I shall consider this part of the middle of the night. More about this road trip tomorrow and in the days to come. For now we can focus on yesterday which is what the Daily Scoop is all about! Well for starters I had my first board meeting on the 2019-2020 IPC Board. And as usual the first one is always a long one. The meeting actually flew by and before I knew it, it was time to leave and head to my nail appointment - which was long over due!!! Next up was having the kids plus Mika and Aurora come meet me with Birdwald Ponypants and for us to grab a late lunch (which turned out to be dinner) then hit the bookstore and make a quick run to the mall. Veggie Grill is what had been decided on for our meal. Been there bunches of times over the years and it sounded/seemed like a good idea. Especially since the menu changes seasonally and I hadn't been in a couple of months. Cosette and I decided to share a "burger" and a scallop (mushroom) plate. While the burger was tasty and all, the scallop (mushroom) plate was super dull and boring. To the point where I had asked if Cosette liked it any better and then when she expressed that she did not. I had no choice but to send it back and get a replacement order. For our replacement we decided to go ahead and order the same burrito that Dominic had ordered - which luckily was much better. Well folks that's all for today. Being that I am now currently in Washington and I've run outta time - we are actually going to head to Seattle and go to the Seattle Mariners Game! I'll be back with more tomorrow, -Travelin' Tanya | 6 Fun Facts About Savannah, GeorgiaHowdy folks!!! Last day of the weekend and I'm sooo enjoying this GORGE weather we are having on Long Island. As Tanya is headed on her way to Washington State this morning (and probably there already as I'm writing my Scoop), me and my gang are just enjoying the last few, no care weeks of Summer. Yesterday, as you know, I took Gianna to the salon to get her hair highlighted. Wow - did it turn out lovely! My girl's hair is way long now - practically touching her backside and with the newly added highlights, it looks simply beautiful! We three gals boogied out of the house early this afternoon for yet another open house. Good grief - when will this big old house going to sell!! We have several offers, but it's taking a while to completely move forward. Crossing everything! In other news By the way, as I am writing, my fur baby Punkin creeped up behind me on the club chair to take a little snooze. Check out how silly she looks on top of the back pillow.
