Elisa's Daily Scoop Copenhagen or bustHey there!!! This week is flying by! I'm getting sad that the Summer is quickly coming to an end (insert sad face). We had an extra early start today to get out to the barn. There are lots of beginners this week, and the girls' trainer needs all the help she can get from the more advanced riders (which my girls are) to help these new kids. So, she asked that they get there by 8:30am today and be all tacked up and ready to ride by 8:45. (Usual arrival time is 9am.) We got a head start last evening by making lunch and packing snacks to avoid doing so in the morning. What do you think of Tanya's Magical Anniversary trip so far? I'm so enjoying all of her stories and the pictures. I still can't believe there was an earthquake while she was in Italy!! She was also able to enjoy some time in Copenhagen yesterday before heading off to Edinburgh. Let's take a look at some interesting bits of information about Copenhagen... 16 Fun Facts About Copenhagen, Denmark  Nyhavn is a 17th-century waterfront lined by brightly coloured townhouses in Copenhagen (credit: en.wikipedia.org) 1. Copenhagen is the capital and most populated city of Denmark. 2. The city is situated on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand; another small portion of the city is located on Amager, and is separated from Malmö, Sweden, by the strait of Øresund. 3. Yesterday, I made more progress on my ongoing endeavor to clear out stuff that we are no longer using or need. Last week, the Veterans Association picked up numerous bags of old clothes and I'm starting a new pile for them to pick up in a few weeks from now. This time, it will be old toys and books. I like organizing the pick ups with specific items. It is helpful to clear things out in an organized fashion. What a way to start the new school year with so much organized and orderly in the house!
