Making memories
Well whaddaya know?! I'm actually here at a decent time!
It's amazing what having good wifi will do for keeping a posting/publishing schedule.
Soooo I cannot believe that we have already been traveling for 8 days?! The time is really FLYING.
And I am not the only one, just the other day (Saturday to be exact) Dominic head that it was Saturday and his jaw dropped! He said he thought it was Wednesday and wondered where the days in between had gone.
That's life on the road folks!
If you've been following along, you'd know that yesterday was our first FULL day here at our Choir Camp. The kids spent time rehearsing and getting plenty of play time. Meanwhile I was kinda busy working up an appetite by doing errands. LOL

Then it was time to do some exploring!! And it was up to me to lead our small(ish) group on a little "hike" which was a bit more like a nature walk.

And off we went!
Without knowing where we were going I just started walking. Yeaaa that sounds about right! LOL

I walked and they followed and followed. Inhaling all of the fresh clean air and although we only went about 1.5 miles, I think this might have been much longer of a walk than some of them have done in a very long time.

And just when we were about to turn around, we spotted a group of Mules and a Horse! Which I had figured would be the perfect place to stop, greet the animals, and then start heading back.

Once back, some of the kids played while some of the adults rested.
Dinner was al fresco for some and then it was time to all meet up in the theatre - review some past performances and then enjoy watching Beauty and the Beast.
Not the most exciting day in terms of what I'm accustom to. But definitely one for that these kids will all remember for years and years to come.
The choir goes into the recording studio today, while I do some location scouting in town and then we head on over to the ranch!
