Where am I today???
Hello out there and GREETINGS from a very HOT Las Vegas!!
Yup you read that correctly - I'm in LAS VEGAS. The o.g. Sin City!!

It was and is a last minute and quick trip. Just in and out and in some sort of preparation of our next visit in October - for Cosette's (and Travelin' Elisa's) Birthday.
For starters let me say it one more time - IT IS HOT!! 
At one point I was driving in the car where the A/C was beautifully set to a very comfortable 67F and I realized that it was 110F outside of the car!!!!!
By the time I got around to taking a picture it had dropped to 107F - there was a 40 degree difference outside the car!

I'm not one for the heat and I sure as heck hope that Portland and Bend are quite a bit cooler once I arrive up there in all of 2 days... GAHHHHHH
I'm not exactly packed quite yet. But having said that it is a rather easy pack to go up o na mountain biking trip. But taking about packing. I've got some major packing ahead of me... I leave for Croatia on Sept. 20th and I am away until Oct 3rd. But then I leave again on Oct. 10th for the big birthday trip to Las Vegas. And then 1 day after getting back from Vegas, I'll be leaving and heading back to almost where I had just come from... Heading to Venice. Then to Athens. Then back to Venice. Then on a Cruise which will actually take me back to Croatia... On a side note - can you believe that I've never been to Croatia before and by the middle of October I will have been the twice! The cruise will also take me to Greece and the Greek isles!!! Super cool - I know (insert a playful smile and a wink right about here). And so as you can see, I've got plenty of major packing to do. Which I take very seriously. Okaaaay so enough about that for now. Let's bring me back to the here and the now and (show &) tell you where my first stop was and what I had for breakfast:

It was blue and it may have even tasted blue - although I wouldn't really know what a color should taste like - with the exception of Orange - I think we all know what the color orange tastes like... even the color blind. LOL

Tiabi had been on my to try list for a while and I finally tried it out a few months ago when I was driving through with a friend.
Since then this is the third time that I'm having breakfast at the yummy vegan friendly off the strip eatery. I can't wait to take Cosette, Dominic, Elisa and the girls here. And I'm pretty certain that they will all enjoy just as much as I do! On that tasty note, I'm gonna bop offline and catch you guys and gals back here tomorrow, -Travelin' Tanya
