Recap of the Hollywood Bowl Fireworks and Family time.

Hi there (insert a big wave from yours truly).

I'll start by apologizing that for some reason my blog from yesterday had vanished and was never posted or emailed.

So although today is Monday and a fabulous Monday at that, my blog below is wishing you a Happy Sunday. Well I do hope that you had a Happy Sunday.

I've been running around like a crazed girl all day long. I left the house at 6:30a and had to make my way down to San Diego - not just once, but twice!!!

I am now about to pull up to choir and I've really been in the car just too darn long today.

I'll be back at you tomorrow. For now if you would please enjoy yesterday's blog...

Hello and Happy Sunday to you!

I had truly meant to bop on here yesterday and then the day got away from me - as per the new usual. UGH

My morning was spent working on accommodations for my upcoming trip to Croatia. Which btw - Croatia just looks so very lovely!

I had been waiting for a car to get detailed and that took quite a bit longer than I had anticipated.  By the time that the car was ready - I was running behind schedule.

I had to get back to the home front and then over to Chaplin's and of Summer Recital.

The rest of the fam bam had met me at the recital venue... 

All except Dominic!    

It was a case of Home Alone - but instead of him being forgotten, he had thought he was coming over with Birdwald and refused a ride with my mom (not realizing that Birdie and Cosette had already left prior).

There was no time to go fetch him and his front row seat remained empty as he sadly remained home...

Well actually Andrew (Chaplin's dad) opted to take Dominic's empty seat as it was better than his own. LOL

Immediately after the performance it was time to zoom zoom back home and get ready for the next performance of the day:

I had purchased our tickets months ago and didn't remember when the show was - until double checking the dates only last week...which totally put a cramp of my travels for last week in knowing that we had to get back in time for not only the performances of the day - but we also had tickets for (last) Thursday's Vivaldi's Four Seasons...making it back from Portland in literally the NICK OF TIME!

But last night's performance had the very witty Bramwell Tovey at the reins as the annual and much-loved spectacular reached its 50th anniversary! Climaxing as always with the 1812 Overture and a barrage of fantastic fireworks!

So to back track just a bit - we rushed home and got ready to head out to dinner and then to catch the show...

First stop was Real Food Daily in Pasadena.

Where we enjoyed very yummy food, lots of laughs and lovely conversation.

I was gabbing away and before we knew it I had barely made a dent in my meal and it was time to head on out and hurry off to the Hollywood Bowl.

Yup I was taking center stage (as Cosette puts it) and talking too much to eat! LOL

We then arrived in perfect timing to the Hollywood Bowl and went in search of our seats.

The show was wonderful and thus the night went.

Today we are starting the day heading off to the Mall.
