Wave Hill, Long Beach, Central Park and Throwback to Scranton, PA

Hello!  A brand new month is upon us.  I hope that July was all you imagined, and more!

I have a few weeks on this end to relax, but the third week, Kelsey has a review course every morning for her Catholic High School exam, which takes place in October.

We've all gotten pretty accustomed to waking up leisurely, so starting off the day at 7:30 will not be welcomed!

Well guys, I have to tell you that my next few months will NOT be filled with any road trips or travels, unfortunately. 

I will need to wow you with local points of interest until my next trip in October to Las Vegas.

We were originally going to go to Pittsburgh for a few days, but I thought it wiser to save my money and pay off some debts instead.  Without going into too much detail, let's just say that I'm cleaning up what remains of the debris from debts left from my marriage.  I'll leave it at that for fear that I will lower my energy vibration and be too negative and affect my good karma.

In any event, the good news is twofold. First, I will be free and clear in a few months FOREVER from the bad elements of what I once thought was a sacred union; and secondly, I will focus on local adventures to share with you!

Here is what I've got so far:

• Tonight: Wave Hill Twilight in the Garden - Heading up to The Bronx to enjoy the first of several Thursday Twilight in the Garden evenings, "Moonflowers and Angel’s Trumpets Walk"
• Monday August 5th: Beach Day at Long Beach, Long Island - We have not been to the beach this summer and this coming Monday, we'll be having a full day of beach fun.  
• Saturday August 17th: Secrets of Central Park: The Walking Tour - I'll be doing this, my second NYC walking tour with my history buff buddy, Kelsey!
