Italy Travel Blog - August 5 to 25! Subscribe & Follow!Hello folks! ONLY 1 DAY LEFT TILL ITALY!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am! All packed, bags by the door and I am READY! (insert me with my bags) A few things left on my list for today. Had an early morning Vet appointment for Liberty this morning, since she has been panting a lot. I'm pretty sure it's when she gets nervous and frustrated, but being gone for 3 weeks, I prefer to have her looked at quickly. So, just as I thought - she checked out wonderfully!! But, she is suffering from a little anxiety, so Dr. Silverman put her on some doggie xanax to calm her down. Poor Baby. Later this afternoonI 'll be taking the girls with me to get pedicures. Gianna wants to get the colors of the Italian flag on her fingers and toes! Should be very cute! Then this evening a special treat. First we'll be going over to Franklin Square to have a pizza dinner - like we won't be having enough of it over the next few weeks lol. Then, a visit to Ralph's Famous Italian Ices and Ice Cream! (This delightful treat shop will be the feature of my Foodie Friday segment this Friday - so stay tuned!!) So, what did you think of Tanya's great Poll in her Daily yesterday? Looking forward to tabulating the results! I'm just so excited about a number of you, my friends, who have subscribed during the past week in order to follow my daily activities while I'm traveling through Italy. I updated my itinerary today for you. I really want to give you as much information, photos and personal persecutive as I can each day, so you feel the excitement of what me and my family are doing throughout the coming weeks. I'll be adding links as well, and when and if possible, videos! And of course, you will be reading Tanya's daily blogs as well as she is making her way through the UK and Scandinavia during the same time! Check our pages with our full itineraries: Elisa's Italy Trip Tanya's UK/Scandinavia Trip I promise, we will give it our all not to disappoint you and keep you enthralled with our travel adventures each day! I do hope this blog inspires you to copy and duplicate our trips! HAVE A MAGICAL MONDAY! Arrivederci, -E | Monday Madness!Holy Smokies! We're leaving tomorrow! Yippeeeee! I've gotta tell ya, I can be one heck of an uber ridiculous person... I was just about down to having nothing left on my to do list and then I just started adding to it. And I mean adding to it like crazy! It's so freakin long now that I'm swamped! So much to do today, that I can barely think straight! Right now, I'm actually online with Elisa and we are booking Quebec, while at the same time on the phone booking Lake Tahoe! I thought I was all finished packing, and then I came up with a bunch of extra stuff that I wanted to toss in my rather LARGE piece of luggage! The list goes on...and then to top it off, the kids have a costume check at choir tonight in preparation for their performance at Disneyland on Sunday, August 10th. This will be the first (and hopefully the only) big performance that I will miss. These kids have been in the International Peace Choir since they were both 5 & 6 respectively, and my UK/Scandinavia trip was booked long before I was given the date of this performance (can you hear the guilt?), otherwise I would've certainly worked around their performance date - I've always done that in the past! Dave C. is going with them, and this will actually be his first time in several years. I know that they will all have lots of fun, and that it'll be a great day. Meanwhile I'll be floating around at sea that day on my Cruise to Norway! I'm gonna miss my pups (kids). I look forward to all the gifts and goodies that I'll be bringing back to them and the rest of this gang! Shopping for each of their souvenirs is truly one of my favorite past times while I am away. I luv handing out gifts!! And my sweet little nieces really luv getting all their presents...I kinda think that they look more forward to the gifts I bring back then to me actually being back! So, just to keep you up to the minute on the very latest - we are now booked for both Quebec in February and for Tahoe in January! Bring on the snow!! As for you Travelin Cousins fans and followers, we will have a Quebec Winter Festival planning page all set up for you with weekly updates for trip planning! I'm so excited! Of course that'll all take place once we return from Europe! Elisa and I can't wait to start blogging for you from Europe! The only way to be sure that you don't miss a beat of all the fun and excitement of our trips is to SUBSCRIBE! Now I've gotta get on with my monster list! I hope you have a spectacular Monday and that you are working at making you own dreams come true!!! Backatcha tomorrow! -T |
