Afternoon Tea and travel plans throughout Europe!
Not all too much to report today from yesterday.
I did take care of some more bookings. What can I say... A day in the life!
I was rather excited to book yet another upcoming Afternoon Tea.
This time at the Fairmont in San Francisco, where Afternoon Tea has been a tradition for San Franciscans and the guests of the hotel since its opening in 1907.

I recently received this delightful book Taking Tea as part of my Easter Basket and the very first line in the book "MOST TEA LOVERS can probably recall the first time they became smitten with afternoon tea" is oh so true!
For me it was on my first visit to London. I had carefully researched the best places to experience Afternoon Tea and had made reservations at those that of course offered a vegan menu. After that all we can say is that I really took to the English tradition and lifestyle.

Since then, searching out Afternoon Tea from coast to coast and around the globe. So yes we can definitely say that I can recall the first time I became quite smitten with afternoon tea!
Other bookings and plans included meals for the upcoming Moab Cycling Adventures trip that takes off in 8 days!!
I was also working on the day to day details of our Poland, Germany and MORE voyage
Day 1 will be a visit to Stockholm - this will be my first time to Sweden and I am actually still working on the plans for this day.

Day 2 as per Dave's request we will be visiting Peenemunde - the World War II rocket-building museum and then heading into Poland and to Poznan. All meals have been planned for this day.

Another thing I took a looksie at was Portugal and tried to get an idea of what our plans might look like for our March 2019 trip.
At this point I know that we'll be visiting Sintra as well as the rest of the Algarve...

Elisa's Daily Scoop Covering Long Island & NYC Boroughs NEXT TRIP DEPARTS IN: 16 DAYS
The Office and Scranton, PA
Hey there! How goes it today for you? I'm getting better each day, hopefully, I'll be back to my ole self by the end of the week.
Hump day already! Today, I'm going to get outside, get some fresh air and take care of a few errands, namely, our weekly trip to Trader Joe's!
Thank goodness, Kelsey is still at the age where she still loves spending time with mom and doing errands and chores. Laundry this morning; making the beds and feeding Punkin - she's big help - my little buddy!
I'd love to squeeze in a movie with her today at some point. I know it's not $5 Tuesday at AMC, but what can you do. She's been asking to see A Wrinkle in Time for the past three weeks.
Let's see if I can get myself going.
Kelsey is my total TV buddy too. We LOVE watching HGTV and The Food Network, with a few of our favorite shows being Fixer-Upper and Cupcake Wars.
But, this week, we decided we were going to start binge watching a new TV-Series. With Netflix, it's so easy!
In any case, we started The Office. Now, I know this show started back in 2005 and I'm 13 years behind, but what can I say. I was busy being pregnant and taking care of my toddler.
Needless to say, it is so funny. I love Steve Carell and you know, while we're on the topic of him, I have to say, he is pretty under-rated as an actor.
Not only is he great at comedy, but he's a master at accents (case in point, Gru, from Despicable Me) but he is truly a great dramatic actor.
Did you see The Big Short? I thought he was phenomenal in that movie!!
So, anyhow, me and my girl Kelsey are having a blast with The Office. We are only on Season 1, Episode 5, so we have a ways to go.

Now, you may or may not know that The Office takes place in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I was not very familiar with this city, until I decided to do a blog about it back in February, after chatting with a friend whose daughter attends The University of Scranton. I was pretty impressed with this town and plan to do a road trip there in the near future.

Well, here's to a happy Hump Day!! Off to start my day!
