Elisa's Daily ScoopW2GW - Makin' Plans for Fleet Week 2015Happy Hump Day and W2GW!! How is your week going so far? I cannot complain on this end. The weather has been great - sunny, warmish and very productive! Today I'm doing a little beautifying - hair color. I hate to complain, but I feel like I'm always at the salon getting my "roots" done. Anyone else relate?? Ugh - aging gracefully, is not easy! I have a fun afternoon planned. After the girls get out of school, we are going to head over to Panera to meet my friend Marta and her son. While the kids enjoy eating and hanging out together, Marta and I will be all about "Budapest!" Marta hails from Hungary is going to give me the inside skinny on the best things for me and Tanya to do during our three days in Budapest this summer on our Milestone Birthday Trip to Eastern Europe. I can't wait to hear Marta's thoughts on the itinerary that Tanya and I put together and actually talk to someone who knows this city as well as she does! Other than that, I'll be making a trip to the paint store to pick up some swatches to show to Denise for her upstairs rental apartment, which we will be painting this coming weekend. She wants to get it rented by the summer, so we are going to get things in shape. So, where to go?? Fleet Week New York is approaching quickly - May 20th - 26th, in The Big Apple. I know I have to be in the city on Sunday May 24th to see Gigi, but I'd rather dedicate a specific day to Fleet Week participation. I'll keep you posted!! Hope your day is as special as you are!! -E xoxo | Tanya's Daily ScoopWhat day is it again???Well... I woke up today thinking it was Tuesday! My days are generally so smashed and smushed together that it almost doesn't matter where I am - I'm not gonna know what day it is off the bat! Heck - at least I was only a day off! LOL So today is Wednesday after-all and I already had a pretty busy day planned out - which only just got a bit switched around and added to! But alas that is LIFE! The kids (especially Cosette) are looking forward to seeing the new Avengers Movie - The Age of Ultron to start the summer movies off with a bang! It opens nationwide on Friday, but they use to have a midnight show on Thursdays - now they offer showings earlier in the evening on the Thursday prior to the opening. But tomorrow is Chaplin's birthday and we don't want to miss a beat of her 4th birthday celebration! So a few days ago when I was searching out showtimes for this action packed film I surprising found showtimes for TODAY! Well that was going to work out just perfect... But then when I looked again at the showtimes again today, all of those listings were removed! It must've been a typo. UGH. Guess we're gonna have to go catch an early matinee on Friday before my mani/pedi, and before heading out of town on the ROAD TRIP! I managed to get a lot of packing done yesterday, I'm not quite 100% done, but I'm well on my way and looking pretty good! With a lots left to do this week and a few things left to throw into our luggage, hopefully I should be Golden as long as I keep to my schedule! I took Cosette to her horseback riding lesson yesterday and it was another scorcher! I was super HOT and drained from the heat and I was watching from the shade! There were also a couple of cute little minis that I was keeping an eye on who were taking a stroll in the arena. I can hardly imagine doing the riding or being the horse on these hot days. Speaking of horseback riding, our horseback ride tour in Bryce Canyon National Park was finally booked last night! Talk about last minute! Anyhow this ride has received rave reviews and I'm looking forward to a close-up look at the beautiful rock formations that have been thousands of years in the making!
